Had my first refund today - was supposed to be seeing Ben Watt at the Southbank Centre last Saturday, which was cancelled. Refunded to my card without me needing to contact them.

So do we just have to wait for ATG to contact us about our bookings? Yes - this is what they say: We will be contacting all affected ticket holders with options regarding their bookings. As you can imagine we have a large number of orders to process, so please bear with us. We will be working in chronological order, and are currently contacting customers for performances of the week ending 22nd March, 2020. Please check back here for further updates, including which tickets are currently being processed. www.atgtickets.com/coronavirus-info/

Everything at the Mayflower is cancelled/postponed until the 24th May (the day before my birthday). This includes my tickets for Once on the 23rd which I got for my birthday last year :C

Wish ATG would give cash refund rather than a voucher.

Wish ATG would give cash refund rather than a voucher. I believe you are legally entitled to a cash refund if a performance is cancelled and I shall be asking ATG for my £348 for Back to the Future and Pretty Woman when they contact me.

I'm being flexible about what I do when theatres are getting back to me - happy to donate to fringe theatres (where the ticket prices are fairly low anyway); taking credit notes from larger places where I know I'll be going back, to help their cashflow... but I am asking for cash from some places - I think the Royal Opera House has punters with deeper pockets than me... ATG is a business and I'm inclined to do cash from them.
Worth remembering that if you take a credit note you are taking a punt on the stability of the venue or business - if you take an ATG credit note and ATG go under, it's worthless. So in some cases I'm taking the cash and donating it to charity rather than leaving it in a business (which I think is different to getting a credit note from a venue where the funds are going directly to theatre practitioners)

Think I need a spreadsheet to keep track of all my cancelled bookings! Not heard anything yet from the Kiln but wasn't due to visit until May so they are probably focusing on earlier bookings and waiting to see for how long the closure is likely to last. Anyone here due to visit sooner and with any news, please?

showgirl also keeping a spreadsheet as have potentially tens of cancellations/refunds to keep track of with 5 cancellation/refunds to track just for this week alone. Also not heard anything from the Kiln but will be one of the Theatres where I will use any refund/credit to buy a membership. Having bookings going out months I have been historically buying a week’s Theatre for a week in the future therefore outgoings per week was stable, when Theatre reopens and the tap is switched on again the first wave of booking could prove expensive and therefore will likely take credit at independent Theatres like the Almeida, Donmar, Orange Tree, Jermyn St, Park... and only take refunds from booking agencies and chains.

I had a similar idea which I’m sorting out this weekend. With all the stuff booked into the the theatre diary to the end of May and my inbox flooded with emails from different theatres and ticket agencies, at least I can keep track where things are up to a bit more easily.

Has anyone heard anything from Lovetheatre? I don't normally book with them but it was the only way I could get a ticket to The Seagull without wasting an entire afternoon. Starting to regret that now given I was supposed to be going next week and I have heard nothing about a refund!

A Little Night Music in Leeds is off. They say they are working to find a way to present it in future.

News from Hope Mill -
Dear Cinderella Audiences,
It is with a heavy heart we let you know, that due to the unknown climate of the industry right now and the financial uncertainty ahead, there is no feasible way we can carry on with our upcoming production of Cinderella, which was due to go into rehearsals soon.
We are heartbroken to be making this choice. But we do also want to ensure this show happens in the future, with so much hard work having already been done. Cinderella will return in the future, but at this time we do not know when that will be.

Guardian is reporting that theyre finally meeting to discuss forcing the closure of pubs, cinemas, theatres, etc. in London. I suppose it's easier to enforce when many have 'voluntarily' closed already...

Not just Delfont Mackintosh, but all SOLT theatres closed until 26 April at the earliest.

Just received two emails about the booking I had for Be More Chill.
One, from LW Theatres, explained that they are working through bookings in date order, and not to contact them until they've been in touch offering a refund or exchange for my booking.
At exactly the same time, I received an email from The Other Palace explaining that performances are cancelled until 26 April and that anyone with tickets for cancelled performances should email LW Theatres to request a refund or exchange!

If you book the tickets at the box office in cash how are they handling refunds. My dad cant remember if he booked Hello Dolly for us om his card or in cash - obviously not postponed yet but probably will be soon due to the effect on rehearsals.

I'm meant to be seeing Juliet, Six, Dolly and CFA in August, but wondering now if it's probably best to just request refunds for them all? Would they refund at this stage?

The Riverdance tour has been postponed. The producers are looking to reschedule the dates for next year.
