Exciting casting news especially given that Kate O'Flynn is bringing the house down nightly at the Royal Court in 'All of It'
I booked a roulette ticket for The Effect today. Seems like a great deal for £12 given the size of the theatre and assumed good sightlines. I do wonder how they allocate these seats though...?

Steve , did the same and booked a roulette ticket, as it is in the round with only two/three rows of seats downstairs and and one upstairs and having been there last week cannot see how any seat would be severely restricted and at £12 an offer too good to refuse.

Same here! I went to see the Sunset Limited and looking around the space I realised the roulette system is actually very good value for money, there won't be any real issue seeing the stage from anywhere in this theatre.

I do wonder how they allocate these seats though...? Appears just like the Young Vic's lucky dip. It looks like FOH get a list of unsold seats about 10 minutes before the show starts and start showing people to empty spots. *Very* friendly staff who I've noticed are quite happy with people asking if they have spotted a seat they want or if people want to move. They radio the BO and if the seat is free, you can move. Having seen both Ghost Quartet and The Sunset Limited there, I've roulette tickets for The Effect booked and to be honest I strongly suspect I'll book roulette for anything interesting showing there in the future.

I am "rouletting" too. Apparently nobody has bought the standard seats :-)

Believe roulette is a minimum of 10 for each performance. This would imply if not selling well more could become available but for now they have stopped at the initial 10.
