Very late to the party.
Saw this first preview and was not too impressed. Need to see it again though. Felt at that point too much like the 2012 show.
What are other peoples thoughts now has been running a while?
Also its cinema showing is in April, with Timon in november

You mean the one with the balloons? Help me... I do, this one among other things has balloons again but of a different type and not so many.

How about the ABBA singalong that Lynette and I enjoyed so much in the 2012 one ? A food fight instead is some sort of compensation I suppose. Why do they feel the need to screw around with this play ? the best production I've seen directed by Deborah Warner was very austere and straightforward.

Aw, I loved the one with balloons.
Or “Dirty Dancing with Murder” as it’s known in this house.

Aw, I loved the one with balloons. Or “Dirty Dancing with Murder” as it’s known in this house. There isn't a murder in it, just the off-stage death of King John right at the end, reported second-hand as by poisoning.
