The backstage shenanigans are far more entertaining than the show itself. These whole past few years have all been a facade designed to allow ALW to develop a musical going behind the scenes of Cinderella.

CHF's chapter on Cinderella in her future autobiography will be the most entertaining read since Patti's chapter on Sunset Boulevard

She did say she’d write a book “one day” in a post that she deleted. And that was several ‘dramas’ ago.

Carrie has commented on last night's show stop on her Insta story. Apparently there was a "technically issue" (her words) with the automation desk which meant the revolve didn't work and needed to be reset.

There might be some extra zest to CHF's performances, as she's in luuuuuuuurve.
Her new beau is Joel Montague, who was recently cast as King George in Hamilton.

Yikes. His social media has been so consistently unprofessional, I can't help but wonder if it'll affect his career going forwards. Not even subtle.

How many last warnings do people need? If he was one of the ones who was on a warning looks like he doesn’t care. Quite a dicey strategy on an industry based on reputation. Has he got another long term contract lined up? I guess word of mouth travels and however much he feels ‘justified’ throwing shade at a big player can’t be helping him. Andy knows a lot of people. No one wants to employ difficult people in any industry.

Where have all the £20 offers gone?! I looked for tickets and could only see standard prices, some of them way into the £100+ category!!

No one wants to employ difficult people in any industry. When I am casting, I always check out candidates to find out more about them. And that is for non professional shows. Background checking is even more important for high profile pro gigs It is very easy to make yourself unemployable if you do/say the wrong thing on social media. Attitude and reputation are key.

If I knew how to embed insta posts I'd share another deeply unprofessional one recently seen. I guess the bridge burning is really out in force. I was glad to read VHB's grateful post, for balance.

Just quoting myself to add, a big reason these posts bother me is that they make me very uncomfortable when watching the performance. It's off putting knowing the actor in front of you hates the show, his employer, and doesn't want to be there

I wonder if they just go through the motions with their performance. I hope and I'm sure that, as professionals, they would still want to give their best performance.

Rodney Vubya’s Instagram story where he is smashing plates at a taverna and openly shading the company/boss that hired him is uncomfortable. And takes away the magic. Also the claims of PTSD however humorously meant. If it really has been that horrendous I truly wonder what he is actually paying an agent for? Surely it is their responsibility to protect their client. The whole shading the boss publicly (and he’s by no means the only one - the leading lady is very quick to like these posts) leaves a very bitter taste

We can only imagine all the stuff going on behind the scenes. It seems a very toxic workplace.

It started with free Twix and Cherry Cokes for all from the leading lady’s special fridge and now it’s come to this.

http://instagr.am/p/CdLCureoCIR Not sure if that will work but this is a better example of what I find uncomfortable. ALW aside, I can't get my head around the disrespect to audiences quite honestly. People in the comments have seen his performance and come to compliment him and the show and they're frankly mocked. I don't want to start a Rodney pile on here but... Yeah.

Attitude like that turns off potential employers in any industry.

In theatre, like many industries, it seems very much a case of "be thankful you have a job and shut up".
Ranting on social media is really a no no but people need to be able to express their feelings behind the scenes in the fight channels. I wonder if they have been able to do that

If actors wanted to express their feelings about the show they’re in, or the producers they’re working for, they could do it with their fellow professionals on a private group. They do it in public because they want it to BE public. Most normal people wouldn’t dream of slagging off their employers on SM like this, but some members of the acting community seem to think they’re very special and choose to show off like this for attention and likes.
