ALW must be thinking what the rest of us are. Restrictions will end in England when the legislation expires in late January.

And with dynamic pricing there are some decent prices for a couple of random dates I looked at for Feb.

Re-opening moved forward to the 3rd. While that's good news it must be galling for people with bookings between 3 and 9 February that were previously cancelled.

The amount of time this has been closed the ‘re-opening’ should be counted as a revival 😉

So I've just had an email from LW Theatres thanking me for my visit to Bellville last year and did I know the show has been nominated for WOS awards, would I like to vote for them... desperate for votes or what?

Hounded much? I’ve had them for Cinders and BTTF. Send me one for Frozen and you might be in with a chance.

Interesting to see they have reset the pricing on this with the moving section in the stalls now available for £35!!! That's a BIG price cut

I’d go back for ‘Sea Witch’…but only with Gio Spano singing it.

Maybe they’ve spent this unnecessary hiatus working on the plot - the UK is used to pantos - can’t see New York putting up with such a dated storyline.
Got to admire Andy’s chutzpah when it was doing poorly at the box office here in comparison to shows like Frozen, Moulin Rouge, Cabaret etc
Wonder if he’ll insist on taking CHF with him?

I don't think it would last very long in New York, it's very dated and the story is odd.

Half the songs are awful, some sound like the R&H Cinderella and the rest have cringe lyrics.

For a bit of balance, the reviews were generally very positive and the audiences seem to like it (based on my non-scientific observations of those I've seen/eavesdropped on and general interaction on the 'gram). It has issues (hello dodgy lyrics) but it's hardly a terrible show just because some people on here don't care for it. Same as it's also not a outstanding runaway hit just because I happen to like it.

I do hope not. Must be countless stronger performers who could be cast over there. Although it might keep her out of drama here at least...

Reckon it will be gone from the Gillian Lynne by the Summer to make way for a Broadway Import.

Not sure Carrie would want to go. She'd have to weigh up Broadway vs a less than stellar working environment.

Perhaps the working environment would vastly improve without her around.
