As there's a post here referring to Carrie's engagement to Joel Montague can I bring that up to date by congratulating her on her recent marriage to Joel at Gretna Green.
(and yes I am an unashamed "big fan")

Congratulations notwithstanding I feel she went too far in liking that tweet. Totally unnecessary.

As someone who has built their career via social media, CHF is well aware that liking a tweet like that will not go unnoticed. So if she makes the decision to do it anyway then she is intentionally making a public statement. She can of course do what she wants, but people will see it and draw their own conclusions on what that behaviour says about her - in my view nothing flattering.

The tweet CHF liked was very distasteful and shows how much of a petty child she is.. regardless of the timing with ALW losing his son.
Really shows how much of a petty narrc she is. Just because Bad Cinderella is bringing in more numbers even if it is out of curiosity.
If she wasn't the main Cinderella on the West End the show would have done better, she was the costly mistake! Not the show its self.

You can have whatever opinion of Carrie you want, but she was definitely not the reason Cinderella was a flop... I think the terrible reviews on Broadway make it clear the problem is the material.

She didn't help it though either and certainly shouldnt be smug about broadway being slated. London was a real test of her star power and its just not big enough to sell a big west end show. Its ridiculous seeing her hard-core fans saying broadway would have been a success if she had been in it, its an awful show regardless. Although I've seen several comments say at least cinderalla on broadway could dance and move with the ensemble. Carrie has a pleasant enough voice, but she can't dance or act.

Imo she can act, and she's never claimed to be a dancer. But again - regardless of your opinion on her, to say that she is the reason Cinderella tanked is just ludicrous.

For all the focus on one single like of CHF‘s here, it’s quite funny to see Biggins trending on Twitter for what he’s been liking.

That man’s poor wife 😉 So he liked an only fans account. 🤷🏼♀️ Bit different to liking a tweet crowing about the demise of a show and all the people likely to be unemployed soon.

Can you imagine the likes of Lucie Jones, Sam Barks and others behaving like CHF?

Does anyone think when will Carrie transition to screen acting soon? Most MT performers and the rest of stage actors will age out and will look for opportunities on screen to gain more income, then return to the theatre whenever they wish. For someone with a sizeable following and a known name like Carrie, is she actively seeking opportunities beyond theatre and vlogging/socmed influencer? I’m just curious.

Is she well known outside theatre circles? I see her tour isn’t selling well despite her huge ‘following’ Not sure anyone would know who she was on screen?

Lowry stalls and circle are pretty much sold for her date there to be fair. Plenty of availability up in the nosebleeds.
I can’t imagine what the concert will be like. Will there be “repartee”? I can’t imagine her doing that really, she’s not funny if her socials are anything to go by and she’s previously said she doesn’t like working outside of the rigid script/structure of a show.

14 songs in her concert. Isn’t that a little on the low side?

From what I can gather it seems to be a bit like a choose your own adventure concert - she has 20 songs to choose from and the audience will vote on a 'story' from her life which will dictate which song she then chooses. Which will be 14 out the possible 20. I'm very intrigued to hear from anyone going as she doesn't strike me as a natural for this type of thing.

I’m going to say it. I went to day 2 of the tour at Oxford and thought she was utterly brilliant…it’s a very clever show and her voice is crystal clear…I really enjoyed it!

Thought she was great at the Palladium tonight. Varied setlist, and some good storytelling.

Genuine question. How can an act be claiming ‘sold out’ when the venues are heavily papered or on vastly discounted seat filling services? Does the talent know this is happening or is the unfortunate news not disclosed to them?

I don’t know but I think it’s highly unlikely the artists/actors are aware that their shows are being papered. There’s no reason to tell them is there? Egos can be fragile.
Panto again this year. Crawley.
