Hope there will be speeches tonight. And the big question, will Parsley be present? I have it on good authority that the last bow will be reserved for Parsley.. after he/she shuffled down the big staircase.

Not necessarily - if Daniel's friend was only planning on getting 1 but could get 2 it doesn't make a difference does it? Many of us have been in the situation of queueing up and having someone jump in. It is a very different feeling if you’re in the queue (some of those people had been waiting for hours) and this happened. On a more positive note, it looks like the people in the queue got tickets and then the box office released the spare seats they’d been holding (which appeared up for sale on the main site). I wonder if anyone will be seeing the show for the first time today? Whatever will they think? Totally, but if I were in that situation I'd ask if the original person was just getting 2 anyway or if they were now getting 4 and if it's the latter then that is a problem that would need to be resolved

I'm glad you got your ticket but it's a shame it was at the expense of someone else in the line who had no doubt also been hoping to see the show. Not necessarily - if Daniel's friend was only planning on getting 1 but could get 2 it doesn't make a difference does it? It will make a difference to the person further back in the queue who won't get a ticket because Daniel basically pushed in at the front of the queue, a practice which is discussed at length in the Wicked thread.

He didn't push in at the front as I was near there and the only people who pushed in there were an elderly couple.
Some blatant pushing in behind me too, older people mainly from the "well I've been to the show a hundred times so I'm more deserving" brigade.

Urgh, you’d think if anything they’d think the people who have seen it less would be more deserving of seeing it one more time if they admired the show that much.

Of course nothing will ever beat seeing 42nd Street live, but this is a really, really good way to spend 4 minutes and 25 seconds. I've set the alarm on my phone, and at exactly 2.30pm, I'm going to start listening to the cast recording, so I'll be there in spirit. Break a leg everyone.

Hi, I work at Drury Lane and will miss the show as much as you lot. 😢 It's been interesting reading all your comments over the past two years especially considering what the opinions were like at the beginning. It really is a wonderful show and this cast are going to go out with such love and appreciation ringing in their ears. I hope you all find other equally as wonderful shows to fill your matinee and evenings with or if not then maybe have slightly fuller bank balances. 😄 Just a few thoughts, though. To the guy who posted, Claire will not be upset that you commented about her pregnancy, she's pretty cool about things like that. You've been the hugest fan of the show from day one it would be a shame to let something like that spoil things. Thank you for your support. There are NO private conversations at SD if you're surrounded by lots of other people. I know at least one of you actively hangs around and 'listens in' to get the goss to pretend that you're 'in the know' and also 'stalks', if I can use that word lightly, some of the cast and musicians, etc on their way home. Lastly, has anyone noticed that the man who does the incessant, monotonous 'woo-woo' noise all the way through the show doesn't do one for Tom Lister in the curtain call? Why not? Everyone else gets one. 😕 Thank you for coming to see the show. It really is appreciated. We couldn't do it without you. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 So, can we guess who "Lampy" is a second account for on this thread?....... (they've even used the same emojis!) I don't know who you think I am but I only post under one name....even if we use the same emojis!

Two tickets for sale for tonight's performance.
Hello, I have two tickets for tonight (5th January 19.30) that I'd love to sell. My daughter and I are now unable to go due to illness. The seats are Grand Circle L12 and L13. I paid £96 for both but am willing to sell for less so that someone goes.
I will accept paypal and will email you the booking reference.

TodayTix Rush for the evening were sold out by 10:02. In fact, I tried at about 2 seconds past 10 and they were all in baskets. Hope anyone who was relying on that route got it. Afternoon Rush are all essentially showing as sold out too, although sales aren’t officially closed yet. What was the day seat queue like in the end? Sat at the front, feel like I’ve invaded the secret regulars section! And finally picked up (and am wearing) a badge! Thanks to everyone who mentioned they were available. I wouldn’t have looked otherwise.

My first act highlight was Julian Marsh getting handed the canary during Out of Town! Brilliant!

What a brilliant show and so great to see Bonnie dance with Clare in the finale.
They were filming so I’m sure we’ll see highlights online soon.
Muck ups from start to finish. Some rather elaborate. Too many costume swaps to list and some major dance changes in Dames. Poor Joel seemed to be the brunt of most of the jokes.
Lots of super fans near me, including one guy in the 190 club. There were some first timers behind me (a bit chatty). Not sure if they knew what to make of it and I’m sure a lot of people didn’t realise it was a muck up matinee.
Roll on tonight!

Nice to see I'm still being discussed at great length on here, especially about pushing in when I was the person at the back of the line. 😂
Anywho, amazing show, with the highlight being of course being Bonnie dancing again! For those wanting to know, no cast are stage dooring tonight, everyone came out just now and chatted. Both Clare's had arms full of gifts and Clare Rickard amazingly gave me a personal card saying thank you for the support I've given her over the past two years, and it made me cry. 😂

Oh come on, as it's been said, everyone got tickets and they released unsold ones later. So no drama.

Oh come on, as it's been said, everyone got tickets and they released unsold ones later. So no drama. ha doesn't bother me, just find it ironic that for a board that moans about bad behaviour in others a lot, a member goes ahead and does something usually deemed bad behaviour.
