Can we just take a moment to stun ourselves by the fact Clare turns 32 this coming week and she looks like an 18 year old, kinda crazy.

So excited to see this again on Sat. Usually sit around row F stalls, but will be middle AA this time! Got lots going on at the moment so an escape to this joyous show will be most welcome.

Anybody know how the rush has been going on Saturday nights?
Need to get 3 tickets in a couple of Saturdays’ time, and am very tall so can only do Row AA.
Any thoughts?

For those who many have missed it in the other thread, Stuart Neal is playing Leo Bloom in The Producers at Manchester Royal Exchange. It will be well worth a trip to see him again.

Slightly off topic, however I don't really care. I just wanted to say a big thank you to the fantastic Box Office Staff at The Lane. They do a fantastic job and often go unrecognised and under appreciated. The way Xanthe, Michael, Darren, Eric and the team look after the fans of 42nd street is amazing. Thank you so much guys. Just wanted to say how much we all appreciate you - well I do at least! x

Went to the matinee today as Hannah-Faith Marram was on as Peggy. I’ve not seen her in the role before and wasn’t sure if I’d get another chance to see her.
All four levels were open so it’s obviously busier on a Saturday matinee. Still got a good second row TodayTix seat.
Reasonable audience but a bit of chatting (and coughing), the kind of things I’d forgotten about when attending weekday performances. Think something happened in one of the upper levels towards the end as there was some shouting and lights going on, but I didn’t turn round to see what.
Anyway, Hannah is very good as Peggy. If you hadn’t seen the show before, you’d have no idea she was a cover. A winning smile too. I won’t compare her to Clare as that’s not fair.
Lisa Dent as Annie was the only other cover. I’ve seen her a few times and she was good as always.
Bonnie had added a few new moves during Shadow Waltz.
I think Ashley was hit in the face during Lullaby (mouth covering). He was feeling his face and quietly talking to other people during the rest of the song.
One girl short in the train during Shuffle.
I notice they had 13 male ensemble switching throughout the show, but only 12 got to bow. So virtual applause to Freddie Clements who got missed out. He did reappear for the dance part of the Finale.
Excellent show as always with everyone on form and an appreciative crowd.

Possibly my last time seeing the show today, rocked up to get a day seat about 9.45 this morning and even with approx 12 people in front of me I got AA5 for the matinee. Excellent seat. Sad to see Clare off so may have to make one final visit now...... Glad this is being filmed for cinema release. Hopeful of a dvd to follow the screening so I can relive it for many years to come. Just such a feel good show, I always leave with a smile as big as Ashley's on my face.

Hang on since when is this being filmed for cinema release? I found out last week through an orchestra member and had it confirmed today by 2 cast members. I don't know if it's been filmed yet or if it's about to happen but it isn't just for archiving. They said cinema and dvd.

Michael Linnet confirmed this to me a couple of weeks ago. He wanted it kept quiet and was going to feed the news to Baz to release, but some people can’t keep secrets it appears!! Anyway, great news indeed! Should be released around Feb all being well.

I’m sure that if Mr Linnet is discussing it with stagey queens he’s got a pretty good idea that it won’t stay secret for long!

Couldn't believe the view from AA12, just fabulous! I was grinning like an idiot all the way through. My next visit was going to be closing night, but I just might manage another one before then!

I'm going to treat myself to another trip in a couple of weeks.
I assume they do day seats from the box office but people also mention rush tickets on here.
Can anyone please advise what the difference between these two are and how easy they are to get? Thanks so much.
