Hello all Hope you'll excuse a new thread, didn't know where else to post it. I'm unexpectedly in London tonight so plan to see a show and narrowed it down to three (after eliminating those I've seen, not interested in or too expensive). The three are: - 42nd Street - Switzerland - Summer and Smoke Any thoughts on which I should choose? It will be at the expense of the other two as won't get to see them before close. Thanks in advance

42nd St. It’s a brilliant, big production and arguably the best thing in the West End at the moment. You won’t regret it.

I would second that. A glitzy huge unique dance spectacle is just the right thing for a glum grey December day and we won't see the like of it for a long while in the West End I fear.

Summer and Smoke. It's pretty much the best thing I've seen all year. Maybe not as uplifting as 42nd Street but a really great piece of theatre with some amazing performances.

If your avatar is a clue to your theatrical preferences, then it's another vote for 42nd Street.

I'd say 42nd Street as it's closing in a month and this might be your last chance to see it.
