Although retired for several years, she was memorable in the last LITTLE ME revival and of course THE BIOGRAPH GIRL. Pleased to hear Elaine pay tribute this afternoon.

Had to check up who she was as I'd heard the name but couldn't quite place her. Sadly taken from us far too soon. She was a major star in her younger years in films such as Oliver.

I saw her in They're Playing Our Song years ago when it toured with Simon Willimas

She was memorable as Messalina in "I Claudius". Don't think I ever saw her on stage.
