From what I've heard they treat Tina with more respect than Meatloaf and leave the songs in English.

Do German’s know them in English or German? Hmmm..... I suppose for the wider market both would work or even aka cats or starlight do the whole thing in German apart from SIMPLY THE BEST?

i think the popular hits like "Private Dancer" "Nutbush City Limits" "Simply the Best" and more are known in germany don't know why they feel the need to translate them - the next point is that the singer who stars as Tina has a big accent in german, saw her in the Hunchback as Esmeralda and did not understand much , so it would be as understandable to let her sing in german or let the audience hear the songs in english i am sooo afraid of the translation, heard some parts of the translation of Bat out of Hell already and it is soooooooooo bad  i think every time i hear the german lyrics i will have to roll my eyes back don't know why they never trust people to be better in English and not so dumb to not understand a popular Pop Song |
