Desi has posted on her IG stories that she isn't told whether or not she's playing Jenna until the morning of each performance so it seems there are no guarantees that she will be on all week despite that having been announced?! Peak Waitress. Is she at least told which role? Could we maybe see her Ogie by the time the week is out? |

Love Desi. Was randomly on YouTube googling the search for Broadway's Roxie and then started listening to her. This was Saturday EVE. Funny how things have happened. Booked to see matinee today. I *think* I've just seen her on lunch. Fingers crossed she is on. Third visit to the diner including Broadway!

Just listened to Desi's first 'she used to be mine' in London and it sounded gorgeous. Would love to get back to see her as Jenna.

I know it wouldn't make sense (although that's the equivalent of 'it's likely to happen' when it comes to Waitress) but I would love to see her as tour Jenna.

I think it would be nice if they let Desi do the whole week! They’ve flown her all the way over and she’s doing the show a huge favour so give her that at least! 👍 Olivia and Sarah are back in the show though so they must be a lot better. Is Lucie still sick? ... like her absence seems more mysterious idk. Mainly because someone here said she was asking about spa recommendations for last week lol! 🤷♀️

Interval - Desi is wonderful. Her acting is heartbreaking. Love her sarcastic take and different gesticulations. Her runs and riffs are refreshing too. Effortless. So fortunate I had today off and no plans. Really happy. Been close to tears a few times and that hasn't happened before.

Even with Olivia and Sarah well, it leaves the show a bit vunerable again if they're carrying the show between them. |

Sarah is on holiday. Lucie has a bad chest infection but is hoping to be back Monday. I reckon Desi will do all week. Also spoke to someone at the theatre who said that it is the intention to have her for all of this weeks shows.

Late to posting but I saw the show again this evening with Desi and I thought she was great! Full disclosure there’s a ‘she used to be mine’ recording of hers from the tour where she really doesn’t sound that great, imho (and I know we shouldn’t base opinions on YouTube recordings but whatever lol) so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but she was obviously having a bad day because it was fab this evening. It took a bit of getting used to her Jenna style, because to me she puts a different spin on her Jenna than than all the other Jennas I’ve seen (and she has a naturally deep southern accent which was weird at first having just recently seen kats Jenna), but it was really refreshing to see a completely different take on a role you think you know so well. andrew mentioned the show seems to have a bit of the OG sparkle back with Desi and Marisha in the show right now, and I felt that too. I’ve said this before, but what I love about Jenna is that she can be played so successfully in so many ways! 😍 |

Pretty great sale on TodayTix at the moment for Sara/Gavin's performances! Just got great seats in the dress circle for £25, or there's rear dress for £15 and stalls for £35

Already got stalls for their run in the GILT sale but thought I’d probably like to see Sara twice so picked up a £15 Row O dress for the last week of their run.

Hoorah! Got tickets for the second Saturday of her run in the dress circle for £25.
Not a good sign that they are discounting already for Sara's run, considering this was probably put in to top up the bank accounts!

Picked up a £15 ticket in the Dress for the first week of March. Hoping to catch Sara but I've only seen Kat & Lucie as Jenna so far so I'll get to see a new take on Jenna regardless
