I hope members have seen this piece in The Stage about the recent history of the TRSE and what it has to say about the announcements made by the new Artistic Director:

I think the new regime at TRSE has been discussed here on the board before but I couldn't find the previous thread so will the mods please merge this with any relevant existing thread.
BTW, my current avatar shows Joan Littlewood with her life partner Gerry Raffles who managed the Theatre Workshop Company and ran the Theatre Royal at Stratford East.
