CRH filling in for EP. Finding this a difficult listen. He has the most strange delivery pausing after each word. Come back EP OTT giggle and all.

I've not heard today's show yet but I third that. Last week was pure torment listening to it. He seemed incapable of pronouncing a single word properly and every song he played seemed to have a link to something he has either appeared in or directed.

Must be prerecorded as got off P and O Azura on Friday and he was getting on for a strictly cruise.

Turned it off after ten minutes last week and only had it on for a few minutes today whilst in the car. I'd agree with the other comments, definitely not the voice for radio presenting and everything was all about him

Only one more week of CRH, thank goodness, before EP returns from the Far East.
"Did I ever tell you, dahlings, about the time I directed..."

Only one more week of CRH, thank goodness, before EP returns from the Far East. " Did I ever tell you, dahlings, about the time I directed..." Luckily Google Translate has a Craig Revel Horwood function. When you type in ‘direct’ it translates it as ‘give actors a load of instruments and shove them in front of an audience.’

Never mind CRH- Anton Du Beke on James Martins Saturday Kitchen: has there been a more pointless appearance by a ‘celebrity’ on Z-grade tv in recent years?
‘I don’t like cooking’ - so why have you gone on a major channel tv show about cooking for Gods sake? Certainly not for your wit and humour, he couldn’t take a bite of anything without putting on a stupid voice or making silly noises, it was embarrassing.

CRH was not good to listen to last Sunday , bring back Elaine! Seemed to be a lot of Annie references , and he said he was back in it soon . I saw his performance as Miss Hannigan on tv (Children in Need or something) and thought it was amateurish .

I don't know if his ex, whose name I'm afraid I've forgotten, will appreciate their life together being discussed in quite so much detail.
And then there was the terrible grovel at the end about being asked back.

I caught this last Sunday and had to turn off. Really bad, ponderous delivery that just sounded like he was making stuff up on the hoof.

I didn't mind it, darlings.
Well until he said his ex saw Wicked 68 times, then it went down hill.
He has the right passion, which is great - even though his delivered badly.
However the nice thing when Elaine is off, who I like because of a infectious giggles, you normally get stand ins, like Andrew Lloyd Webber and Bill Kenwright and if they get a free hand choosing the music, then it tells a lot about themselves and what influences them, it would be great if Stephen Sondheim or Cameron Mackintosh done a show each and see what also makes them tick.
