I used to be so jealous of all the girls with their posters of David on their bedroom walls! I have very fond memories of The Partridge Family. I was aware he'd done bits and pieces in the theatre over the years- Time, Blood Brothers, Joseph- but I had no idea until today that he'd been in Jesus Christ Superstar. Sleep tight, DC.  |

I knew when I awoke to How Can I Be Sure this morning.  I saw him at Wembley years ago - I hadn't gone for him, but he was in one of those compilation concerts with everyone from that era doing a turn. My life-long best friend was going to marry him for several years, so I knew all his songs and thought he had a lovely voice back in the day. RIP David. |
