So after reading the Christmas Carol Goes Wrong thread I start looking at the BBC tapings oop in Salford and o my there’s Jane Mcdonald *& friends* - taping “a” Christmas special. I say “a”, as, looking at the recordings, there being 6 of them over 3 weekends, maybe it’s an all-nighter with Jane & Friends! Oh, and they are looking for Jane's biggest fans to tell their stories. www.sroaudiences.com/

I'm just listening to it now. Nice bit of easy listening music and one or two MT songs in there too and I do enjoy Lets Get Loud. Even managed to wiggle my shoulders in time to the music.

Next weeks show is The Greatest Showman with Collabro, Joe Mcelderry and Daniel Brocklebank(from corrie!). I am sure Jane will do Never Enough and This Is Me.

I recorded it so yet to see it but my onscreen TV listing said that the episode was the 2019 Christmas special, which I am guessing is totally wrong
Update. Just watched the show. This really is the campist programme on TV. So funny and, at times, pure filth. Loved it. And who would have thought Jane Mcdonald and Gareth Gates could do a medley of Dear Evan Hansen and Hamilton.

A great Greatest Showman show tonight. What always impresses me about Jane is her diction. You can always hear and understand every word. That is lacking in so many performers.

Jane performed with Gary Barlow on the latest Crooner session yesterday performing ' A Million Dreams'.

Gary Barlow - "the Bob the Builder of pop music". I can't remember who said that (and it's clearly rather unkind) but, hell, it still makes me laugh!

Gary Barlow - "the Bob the Builder of pop music" Whatever you think of him he is a master at harmonies. All the duets he has done on the crooner series have been great. Yesterday he was with Leona Lewis.

The hotel used to be called the Metropolitan Capsis Hotel when I lived in Rhodes. Monster of a hotel. I'm tempted to go back as I loved Rhodes and love Jane.

Can four nights be classed as a residency? It’s a long weekend!
She knows how to pick ‘em though doesn’t she. Paid for weekend in Rhodes. Good for her!

Our Jane also has a 'residency' at Bridlington Spa on 29 August 2021. That's the middle day of the bank holiday weekend, so the perfect excuse to spend a few days in the far east of Yorkshire.
I've never been to Rhodes, but I don't imagine there's much difference!
