I saw this back in August, one of the press previews before it had opened, however as press were invited I assume not much changed between that and the opening night.
It was probably the worst show I saw in 2018. Everything about it was so generic and unforgettable, and the themes simply do not fit in the current climate of Me Too.
Leaving the theatre I honestly couldnt remember a single song. The jokes were low hanging fruit and were not funny.

January has hit this one hard. It's dropped a massive $116,137.90 this week, now at $824,366.30 weekly gross. This makes me sad, I was really rooting for this one so I hope it picks up!

I got rush tickets for this just prior to Christmas. Was first in the queue at 8.15. It was heaving though that night.
I really enjoyed this. Though it worked really well & the chemistry between Karl & Barks was evident. Hope it comes over I’m the not to distant future.

By all accounts it sounds like Adam is doing an amazing job in his first week! Seems like he may be a perfect replacement for Andy come cast change if Andy chooses to leave.

Looks like this isn't the end of Adam. He'll probably replace once Andy Karl leaves. It would be crazy if he didn't - otherwise why even bother rehearsing him for such a short run?

God damnit warn a girl before you post such things *fans self* Look Pretty Woman is one of my favourite things, and yes I'd rescue Edward Lewis right back. I grew up a Renthead and well, Adam is Adam. So DAMN. Anyway, can this hang on until maybe the end of the year when maybe I'll get out there? and if Andy (much as I love him) wants to slide over for Adam I'd be very thankful. Presumably my own ogling aside though, he's lined up as the next Edward. Assuming Andy leaves after a year, and Adam sees it through until it closes then does the tour? because let's face it that's what Adam does....

Even though I was disapointed I loved there cast ofreh is such a power house and deserves her own musical where she is the star. Me and my mum were talking on the way back that we think that Samantha barks will come over with the show. I think this will go we’re Motown Unless Juliet is a hit which I think it will be. If not I see this at the cambridge. As people know the film and I think this will be a hit over here.

My bet is on the Savoy or the Adelphi, with a 2020/2021 opening!

Adam Pascal is doing another run between February 17-22. One week again?! You've got to feel sorry for Andy Karl's understudy...!

Adam Pascal is doing another run between February 17-22. One week again?! You've got to feel sorry for Andy Karl's understudy...! I saw his understudy, Jake Odmark, do the role last November. He's too young (or at least looks too young) - nothing wrong with his performance, but the story didn't sit right with him. So I can kind of understand why they are bringing in Adam Pascal for the week(s).

It's being reported by Classic FM, of all stations, that Pretty Woman will be arriving in London's glittering West End in 2020.
I know Bryan Adams was a guest on Zoe Ball's Radio 2 show this morning, so I'm assuming the news comes straight from the horse's mouth.

I hope for your sake, TM, that the producers have the good manners to choose a theatre with enough space by the stage door to pitch a tent, and pick an opening date when the weather is normally clement.
