They look like they're about to do some decorating.

I'm no fashion expert but they should sack whoever bought their frocks. Looks like something a drag queen would wear.

Looks like something a drag queen would wear. If you tried putting RuPaul into any of those monstrous outfits, he'd slap you. Hard.

You beat me to it. Riley yes, Beverley yes, Janson I honestly don't remember. I saw her in Dessa Rose, and I think she was okay. Nothing special, and I don't see what the connection is. I would have preferred Gloria Onitiri in the mix instead.

^ at least it's not the Magic of Musicals for the 10000th time since 1995. Or Beyond the Barricade.

Yes I saw a couple of clips on Instagram. One Night Only and I think Somebody to Love. They sound good enough but I don't think this kind of CD is for me.

I'm pretty excited for this tbh. Mostly for Beverley but love Amber too. Never seen Cassidy except at WEL doing Beautiful. Still, depending on the tracklist I could be persuaded by this.

Strange mix - two black performers who are more soul based, Cassidy doesn't fit in there. Two UK ladies - Amber odd one out there. One was a pop/soul singer, another more an actress, the other a musical theatre performer. It seems a bit thrown together TBH.
But all are fine performers so will be interesting to hear the final results.
Hope the forum's Gay contingent have recovered from the horror of the photoshoot frocks too!

It does feel very thrown together. It reminds me of BoeBall! If this is only the way to get their voices out there on CD, doing what they love then go for it (I mean outside of the Theatre world of course).

Beverley is doing a tour next month and I think she has her own label so she'd have more options to put music out than say Cassidy.

They've truly pulled out all the creative stops.

Admittedly they're not exactly the most inventive selection of songs, but I guess that's so the album will have more mainstream appeal. Makes sense.

I wish them well, but it's clearly got the Christmas present market written all over it. At least they won't be in direct competition with Jason Manford, whose own album, A Different Stage, is released a little earlier, on 6 October.

Yes , there will be quite a selection of Cds with Ball and Boe mark 2, The Leading Ladies, Jason Mountford, Bradley Walsh... all aiming for the Christmas market. Well good luck to them.

Good song choice - I wonder if they will try to organize a London concert - they could easily perform the album, couple of solo numbers each too, Beverley has a big back catalogue in particular.

They gave quite a good account of themselves on't wireless. Things we learnt:
This was Beverley Knight's idea, who decided that Amber had to be involved after she's heard her sing on Let It Shine.
Each of the three has two solo numbers on the album, meaning nine of the tracks are sung by them all.
If sales are good, they would like to do a tour. All they need is a promoter.

They sounded great on Radio 2 this morning, sang 3 from the album plus a George Michael tribute. They are hoping for a tour depending on how the album does.

I've had a listen, and I must say, it is a beautiful album. The girls sound great, and together its great. I think the only real issue is their voices are each so distinctive, there is something that doesn't quite work for me in that they all sound so different. But overall, a good debut for the girls together!
