Am back in the U.K. for a week. Went into one of my local charity shops today and they had loads of Theatre programmes for sale which was really interesting. Am tempted to buy some of the ‘special’ ones, but I don’t know how I feel about having programmes to shows I haven’t seen.

I used to do that, but I realised that I love programmes because they're from shows I've seen and they have those memories attached, so last time I moved, I only kept the ones for shows I've actually seen. I also now only buy a new one for each show or significant cast change within each show.

There was a really interesting one with a young Emily Blunt in it, but I’m still not convinced.

Held auditions for my play today. Brilliant bunch of actors came along, really fascinating to see their takes on things. Exhausted now and a bit emotional (and we do it all again later in the week)
Is it thoroughly narcissistic to say I had a bloody good laugh at my own work too?!

I remember going to the shoe man when I was a kid, his shop looked amazing but yes sadly all gone for years now The wonderful leathery smell... Not unlike the establishment I visit on the 1st and 3rd Thurdays of every month.......although your £25 sounds a bit cheap.....

TMI warning in case bra chat offends your...
I needed to buy a bra that matched the specific colour of a dress I'm due to wear for an event.
To M&S we go.
Found one in the perfect colour. Also comes with another one in a lovely pale pink colour - bonus. Slight issue in that the bra is push up. Never worn one of those before, this is new. Try it on, boom, colour is perfect match and actually it looks good on too. Buy the bras. Sorted.
Error made this a.m. - chose to wear the pink one to work. In short, I haven't gotten a thing done because I am distracted by my own chest.

At clinic with sister waiting to see if baby niece tongue tie can be cut, waiting for 3 hours so far after car and train journey into London. Room full of very hungry babies who aren't allowed to be fed and we're all going slightly mad.

Winter cycling gear packed away, a pleasantly warm bike ride around the lanes, spied my first bluebells, spring is an especially energising and life affirming time of year.

Hope you manage to get it done- so unheard of in the big scheme of things but makes such a big difference to feeding. Both of ours had ties and each time we had to fight to get it sorted.

We did thanks eventually after a stern lecture about it would only be considered for breast feeding babies and not for non essential things like speech. Didn't realise it was hereditary, numbers 3 and 4 had it and now wondering if 1 and 2 did as both needed speech therapy. Train rammed on way back and no, no one offered the baby a seat.

My mother has decided that instead of cooking for the family on Easter Sunday, we're going to go out for a lovely pub lunch instead. Which would be great except I've just found out that our booking is for 2pm, and the pub in question is going to have an Easter Bonnet Parade for children... at 2pm. So I don't know if she thinks we should be participating in the parade, or if she thinks we want to look at children in hats while we eat, or what.....

A woman in work (visitor) tried to save my soul for Jesus earlier. Suffice to say she had no luck

Chatting to my sister via Facebook messenger last night, she's joined a choir and they've recently been singing Ride On King Jesus ... this, just a day after Game of Thrones / Thronecast where Dara O'Briain commenting that "ride" is an Irish colloquialism for sex, just did for me. And at this time of year, the rudeness!

Finally starting to get around to dealing with the junk that’s been in our garage for years. A lot of it comes from two friends who lived in the South of France, who both died within three years of each other, the latter in 2012. We were appointed executors, and we did what we could to bring back as much as possible when clearing their house. Neither of them had any living relatives. We brought back hundreds of photos, and don't know what to do with them. Many of the photos are from before they met each other, and before we met them. But it seems plain wrong to throw away memories - people on holiday, people at parties, people in love. But we can't keep them forever, it will only become a problem for someone else after we go. But I can't bring myself to take them to the tip. What to do?

KonMari them. Thank them for their service, then dispose of them respectfully. (Although the nice thing about photographs is how easy it is to digitise them, so you could do that first if disposing of them *entirely* doesn't sit quite right.)

Photographs are hard. When clearing out my parents' house we spent hours and hours going through them. Threw out a lot (if we didn't know the people or they weren't aesthetically appealing) but still ended bringing a crate home. I've been thinking of doing what Baemax suggests above and looking at digitalising them. Has anyone used a service to do that?

If you have a lot of photographs to do and they're not huge then it might be cheaper and easier to buy a scanner and do them yourself. Of course, if you're trying to make space then starting out by filling some of that space with a scanner might not be the best approach.

Related to the above it always for some reason gives me a giggle when people don't put their 'This is Holy Week' signs up properly and the 'He is Risen' is on display waaaay before Easter Sunday. I always think to myself 'blimey before even Good Friday that's impressive'
Meanwhile a pre-emptive 'how was my day' well my day is entierly 'back loaded' (behave) with the important things, with a skype interview and then audition recalls all starting at 4.30pm. Frustratingly I have a day to fill before then but likely concentration on any big projects will be limited so I'm trying to mop up bits and pieces instead.

Last month the younger Tibs changed their mobile phone providers. Mr T phoned the bank and cancelled their direct debits.
He also cancelled mine.
So what was his answer when I queried his ineptness little mistake? Was it:
a) I thought one of them had 2 mobile phones; b) I thought I had 3 daughters; c) I thought it would be a right old laff to get your credit rating blacklisted and make you spend hours days weeks on the phone to India; d) You have a mobile phone?
In other news. *Smugness alert* Last summer's chinos fit perfectly. 😌

Just as well turn ups are still 'in', eh Tibs, though aren't you getting a bit too old to be a hipster? 🙂
