Horribly hot today & more to come. Cotswolds, hot, not moving. Far to hot for me. Stayed in doors. Well it was certainly Skorchio this horribly hot weather. You lot are funny! It'll take more than this for me to go out in a flip flop! But I do know why it's hot. A BBC weather reporter just told the nation "The reason why it's so hot is because there's some warm air moving in our direction." So now you know! You know how when the 14 year old who's washing your hair at the hairdressers sings "Wouldja like a head massage?" and you grit your teeth and say yes, not wanting to hurt their feelings and hope that whatever hairdressing school they attend has taught them the shortened version that doesn't include nails? Well, today I give you Tyler. Tyler is actually a film and animation student and looks about 12. If film and animation do not satisfy him I can whole heartedly recommend physiotherapy. I have never, ever had such a fantastic head wash and massage - and that includes those astronomically priced ones at Center Parks. Thanks Tyler. You rock!

I love the look of a perm but for some reason half the time it doesnt work on my hair i think they have to use the super strength stuff I remember one time I had a perm in Hong Kong and it didnt work and they tried to explain it was because I wasnt asian...

Well I shaved my hair off recently (don't ask, never again), so maybe when it grows back I'll go for a perm. I've got very thick hair but I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing when it comes to permage.

I love the look of a perm but for some reason half the time it doesnt work on my hair You can have my curls - now beautifully massaged by above mentioned Tyler and coiffed by lovely Luke, as usual! I spent half my life trying to get my hair to go straight and then just rode with it! I'm glad they didn't charge you. And I hope you get curly soon.

Don't you just love it, as a 22 year old with an average/bigger build, when your old neighbour walks past and tells you "and you've put on weight", when you've lost 3 stone over the course of 3 months and kept it off for over a year? Feels great, that.

Feels great, that. Clearly the neighbour needs glasses! That's tremendous - especially keeping it off. Keeping it off is the really hard bit! Had a nice-ish swim this evening. Only nice-ish because the pool was (obviously) heaving and I gave up after 40 minutes.

Haha - thank you Yes I can imagine that a pool would be quite popular on a day like today - very relaxing & refreshing! Well done. How did you manage it? Thanks Eating less, eating better, eating slower, cutting out alcohol and joining the gym!

I bet you look great.

It's not even 9am and I'm both angry and in the sh*te.
Firstly if I get one more sh*tty email from people who assume based on your job title that you're thick as sh*t I will not be accountable for my actions. (Given that myself and my fellow admin monkeys could undo their work with one keyboard stroke also escapes their notice, but anyway)
I also voiced a genuine concern about an ongoing issue in work and instead of support, landed firmly in the wrong.
Yeah 10 weeks and counting...I'll take being unemployed at this point.
ETA: Day already improved by @theatremonkey (I mean what day isn't improved by the Monkey anyway) teaching me a great new insult "Henwomble" as an alternative to "Cockwomble"

Perhaps you were wasting time on an online forum and not paying due attention to what is important?

Then I swore and shouted afterwards in my head...probably for the best!

Everyone makes mistakes. Sometimes you're more likely to make a mistake if you're too focused on a thing, you're just too close to it to be able to take the necessary editorial step backwards. Noticing the mistake is half the battle, so I hope you're at least able to move forward from here without too much more hassle, kathryn.
