Awesome graphics. As I said elsewhere despite the thing between the E and Y. Casting has been announced. The original London cast are in it until April then Norm Lewis and Carolee Carmello (as Sweeney and Lovett) and others join. www.playbill.com/article/norm-lewis-and-carolee-carmello-will-head-cast-of-sweeney-todd-in-aprilWasn't particularly convinced with Norm Lewis as Javert in the Les Mis o2 Concert, but I guess due to the intimacy of this production, it will be a completely different beast.

It's such a weird choice that high profile Broadway actors such as Carmello and Lewis won't open the show and it's weird they send over three west end actors for a little more than a month. I wasn't fully convinced by Lewis' performance in Sweeney, but that was more than ten years ago and I'm sure he'll be great. And Carmello is a dream in everything she does, she deserves more recognition and better musicals than finding crapland.
Not to mention the juicy Matt Doyle

It was a fabulous evening. I think this broke my aversion to the fourth wall being broken. I am WELL up for it these days.Bring it on. It didn't top the WYP production in my humble opinion though. That was off the chart, but very different of course.
Are they serving pies?

Yes, they will be serving pies.
I've already put this on my "to see" list for next year. I loved Jeremy Secombe as Sweeney but getting the chance to see Norm Lewis is quite exciting.
