No Heathers for me tonight after all - couldn't get to Waterloo for the train with no Northern or Bakerloo lines stopping there. By the time I escaped the chaos the alternatives would have got me there too late You weren’t the only one. Lots of people came in very late into the first act.

James at Shepherds Bush Empire tomorrow, Daniel Kitsons Maybe A Ghost Story at Wilton’s Music Hall on Tuesday/Halloween and Frank Skinner at the Lyric on Thursday. That will probably do for the week.

Saturday matinee for And Then There Were None at Richmond Theatre - it is (surprisingly) sold out, so it's a good job I booked early, including a bit of champagne pampering in the Ambassador's Lounge.
Sunday is Rachel Tucker in concert at Cadogan Hall (when it's over I hope there are no idiots out late because of Bonfire Night!)

Had a lovely afternoon at the Oxford Playhouse seeing Patricia Routledge in conversation about her life in musicals.
3 hours of great personality and anecdote.
She has had such an amazing career beyond the famous telly stuff. A proper national treasure.

Wed - John Godber’s Do I Love You (Liverpool Royal Court) Excellent choice, our david , though I am slightly biased. Couldn't you find anything to see in Liverpool on Friday?

Wed - John Godber’s Do I Love You (Liverpool Royal Court) Excellent choice, our david , though I am slightly biased. Couldn't you find anything to see in Liverpool on Friday? I’m hoping it’s a good one TallPaul. I’ve also got “bouncers” booked in at the Shakespeare NP for Feb. A quiet night in on Fri sadly as nothing else on unless chocolate factory is worth a 2nd watch.
