It was so, so good: the Vegas run finally ends in a few weeks time and she did mention touring it but I don’t think there is anywhere in the UK suitable to put it on: the O2 and Wembley Arena are too big and cavernous but all of the theatres (in London anyway) are too small to put on this sort of show, but there was more imagination put into this than any other concert I’ve seen in recent years: just about any show would be livened up no end by the appearance of a frog in a bikini 😄 |

Two pop concerts, four amateur musicals and a play that will seem very strange to me having seen My Fair Lady so many times. Managed to get central front row for everything so an extra special week.
Monday - Harriet at Arts Theatre (lovely lady, gorgeous voice)
Tuesday - Singing In The Rain at Wyllyotts Theatre Potters Bar
Wednesday - Pygmalion at Old Vic + Spamalot at Epsom Playhouse
Thursday - Hollies concert at Assembly Halls Tunbridge Wells (my favourite 1960s group still going strong)
Friday - Sunset Boulevard at Grove Theatre Dunstable
Saturday - Into The Woods at Westlands, Yeovil

No Heathers for me tonight after all - couldn't get to Waterloo for the train with no Northern or Bakerloo lines stopping there. By the time I escaped the chaos the alternatives would have got me there too late  |
