So it looks like the St James is announcing something tomorrow at 12pm tomorrow. Could be a new show? There's a picture of the auditorium with a hidden message (biggest I can spot is some sort of sign behind the 2nd row on the left-hand side). To me, it looks like it could be the beginning of the word 'The'. Can anyone else spot anything else that cold give it away? Since I can't decipher whether it's a musical or a play, I thought General Chat would be the best place for it.
Let the guessing begin!!

The five spots in the auditorium suggests it will have five characters, and there look to be five characters on the stage...

The first thing that came into my head was actually Titanic based on the red T sign which is similar to the original poster for Titanic... but suggested so far on twitter is Light in the Piazza and Evita, I have no clue how they managed to think of that.

There are a lot of lights in the photograph.
Spotlights, neon lights, stair lights, strip lights. And the characters' costumes might be a clue too...
The T could be for The Light in the Piazza
Nice little teaser!

I'm pretty sure the only thing that is relevant in this photo is that hidden Letter. The rest of the photo seems to be a stock photo they use of the theatre on various Press releases etc. Edited to add: Yep, found in the 'gallery' section of their website. It's also their twitter header.

I've never been to the theatre, do they usually have that level of lights in the theatre as standard?

Yes you're right it totally looks like the T from the Titanic logo! Interesting. The woman who replied to the tweeting saying Evita is a theatre director, I think she was just kidding and making a joke about one of the people in the photo having their arms out a little like the famous Eva Peron pose!

If someone who's good with computers has any spare time and wants to put those two pictures side by side, be my guest! haha. The only other change seems to be something small on the door on the right-hand side half-way up the stairs. Zooming in just blurs it & I can't make it out at all!

Don't know whether there are any clues in this tweet either. A reply suggested it could be announcing a name change!! The theatre replied "All will be revealed tomorrow!!".

As said previously, the only thing that seems out of place is surely the T. If we are thinking a musical, it could be a lot of things... I am secretly hoping Titanic though, not gonna lie.
The other trouble is, if the T stands for The, it really could be a great many shows!

I would love it to be Titanic too, danieljohnson14. Especially as the sign is 'sinking' behind the row of seats. Maybe over thinking it, to fit what I want.

Maybe it is just confirmation that the theatre is changing its name to "The Other Palace"

Still a stupid name for a theatre for SO MANY REASONS.

On closer inspection of that sign, the second letter does not look to be going straight down to make I or H. Looks more like a downward diagonal. Y W or V...?

A name change is not an exciting announcement... what a let-down haha. It would be exciting if we found it was changing to "The Parsley"

Agree with george but I wouldn't call that "exciting news"

Still a stupid name for a theatre for SO MANY REASONS. It will also confuse me endlessly as we have The Other Room in Cardiff. Yes I am easily confused.
