I've only seen The Lion King once on tour in Birmingham, UK (seeing as this is the International section I didn't want to confuse it with Alabama!) and wasn't too crazy about it, but thought the physical aesthetic of the production was terrific. But I've just read this article about how the US tour will be re-configured in summer 2017. www.broadway.com/buzz/186192/disneys-the-lion-king-will-unveil-newly-configured-touring-production-in-october-2017/#loc=buzz-rr-tab-popularI understand it is a huge show to tour, I always thought it was because of the amount of puppets/props/costumes opposed to the actual set (other than the Pride Rock set). So unless they've got to cut a load of those, how exactly would this be achieved?

I imagine it'll be more like the 2nd National tour of Wicked which looks the same as the 1st National tour but with changes to fit smaller theatres
