Ok not technically in the audience but 'Famous people in and around the NT' spotted Shaun Evans (of being baby Morse fame) coming out of Espresso Bar (shame as I was going in and would have enjoyed the view) also saw Ruth Wilson walking down stage door side of the building.
I also nearly stole Daniel Boys' coffee at the Park Theatre bar yesterday.

^ I completely failed to notice her then. I have a tendency to completely fail to notice famous people!

Miriam Margolyes loudly announcing to the entire bar that she never tells actors when she's in the audience because they'd be so nervous if they knew and it's so unfair to them. Then referring to the director and producer as "waiting fans."
She's a 'character' isn't she?

Did she also announce that she always pays in full for her ticket? "When you're in the business, you're in the business!" (Then she glares at me who is purchasing a discounted ticket. But I'm not in the business, Miriam).

Of course they're nervous. It's difficult throwing rotten vegetables from the stage, and they might miss her and waste the throw.

Last year, I was at the BFI London Film Festival seeing a documentary about Saturday Night Live.
Along the same row as me was Dame Helen Mirren, with her husband and a few friends. Didn't bother approaching, but was nice to see her in the flesh.
That and I also saw some youtubers too, but they're not important lol

But I'm not in the business, Miriam). I saw her in the foyer of Sian Phillips' show at the Kingston Rose some time ago and while I was trying to place her (you, know, seeing people out of context) she gave me such a foul glare that it has coloured my view of her ever since. And then she was sitting in the row directly in front of us for the whole show. Dreadful woman.

Love her, love her, love her She was given an Honorary Doctorate in the same ceremony as my Daughter’s Under graduation in Winchester Cathedral. She was a surprise ‘guest’ but due to her work in Harry Potter the kids could not have been more excited. As she walked down the aisle alongside the Chancellor (or whoever), our eyes met and she gave me the most beautiful smile. She began her speech “Every young girl is told the best day in their life will be the day she walks to the altar alongside a wonderful man. They didn’t know me at all!! But I will say I enjoyed it more than I thought I would”. I do hope Graham Norton comes up with a reason to invite her back this year.

My friend also reckoned she saw someone out of Corrie, but I don't watch it, so no idea who it was!
