I apologize for starting a new thread but I couldn't find any in which to ask this question.
I'll be visiting London next week with a friend who's never been to the UK before, so I want to give her some quintessential experiences and I think this should definitely include visiting a pub for a traditional pub meal (we also got Afternoon Tea booked).
Can anyone recommend a nice pub in Theatreland with a non-crowded dining area and decently priced food? Ideally somewhere near the Lyric Theatre as I'll be dragging her into Hadestown. But anything is possible, we'll also go and see Starlight Express, but would rather have a meal in the West End before trekking out to Wembley.
