WOW!
This is an amazing production. The whole theatre was the Kit Kat Club and there were telephones everywhere. It's impossible to review this production as I felt as if I was actually in an actual club in Berlin - Although the text was completely in Spanish. Sally was the wanna be singer, not Liza, and that was great. Albeit she was not a bad singer screaming her lyrics. The MC was sexy and sleazy but fun. The musical used every orifice in the historic theatre and it made me feel complicit, I haven't felt that since I saw Joel Grey on Broadway. Congratulations Mexico City for getting it right and bringing it to me with a gut-punch!
