Has anyone been to this immersive 3D experience thing at Westfield Stratford "Horizon of Khufu" ? Marks out of ten ?
Immersive site-specific theatre is going to be like this in the future isn't it ? CGI sets and witches in Macbeth rather than just the Donmar's little headphones.

Recommended if you like this sort of thing or are curious about the possibilities of VR technology.

How dry/educational is it? Was wondering about taking my nine year old.

How dry/educational is it? Was wondering about taking my nine year old. To be honest the visuals and VR experience are so sensational I didn’t actually listen to much of what my avatar guide was actually saying but it was all factual and based on the archaeology and history but presented in a child-friendly way. But as I say that was very much secondary to the overall experience. I’d say absolutely go for it.
