As far as I’m concerned the premiere is the first performance that’s got a paying audience in, regardless of where it happens. Especially as producers are not discounting previews like they used to any more. Dismissing openings in the regions because of some “only West End/ Broadway matters” attitude is just theatre snobbery. I LOVE the fact that on here we start showing opinions, reviews and ratings right from day 1.
