Thought this was "good" last night, with some stunning dancers and choreography, but ultimately it felt like a VERY good cruise ship kinda show. There were moments were I was mouth wide open, because the dancing was just so good. Other moments lagged, and the little narrative bits didn't really do much at all.
Audience certainly loved it, will be curious how long it sticks around. Was interested to read this played a limited 2 month run at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in the 80's.

It may be hard to overcome and create a feeling of a fuller production in terms of storytelling when the show has so many individual numbers similar to a revue.

Many years ago I saw a show at The Cambridge Thestre in London called Fosse. Is this a reincarnation of that show or completely different?

Sorry - Fosse was at the Prince of Wales. Dancin' was originally a show using new choreography by Fosse based on all types of American music Fosse was a selection of his choreography of past shows including Dancin' I got the wrong theatre. Mind you it was 23 years ago and I remember the theatre was on a corner which is why I thought it was the Cambridge.
