Well, this was a very corny show, so full of laughs and it was amaizing how many puns they were able to fit into the show.
Alex Newall absolutely slays their big number. Rapturous, to the same effect as Mama Will Provide.
This is getting great word of mouth and could well be the surprise hit of the season.

I enjoyed the show less than you did because I found it to be too much of the same after awhile and the jokes/tone repetitive and yes, corny. But it does have good word of mouth and many people will likely enjoy it a great deal.

If this article is to be believed, looks like this is set for a major film adaptation

What is happening with the West End transfer?? I’d imagine they’ve cut their losses sadly. If a very American show couldn’t manage a year on Broadway, it has even less of a chance of succeeding in London. Though they were kept full ish with discounts, average ticket prices failed to sustain over $70/80ish which isn’t adequate over there sadly. Shame as it’s an ok score.

Elaine was of the view, just an hour ago, that it is still on its way "next year".

Shucked is one of those Nederlander Organisation-venue shows that are in the big line of waiting for a transfer... I'd expect it to arrive late 2025/early 2026.
2024 as initially reported was an unrealistic expectation. It's going on tour so I'd expect a WE transfer during or at the end of that tour.
