The new Donmar Season looks good. There's a bit of a gap between Backstroke and Intimate Apparel, I wonder if they'll be putting a TBA show in that slot? Can't even find reference to these two productions?

Elf is rumoured for Drury Lane but I wonder if the rumoured Shakespeare season as suggested by the NYP might go in Janury-March before Hercules? Haven’t heard anything about a Shakespeare season… where’s this from?

So Timeout and Whatsonstage announced the new season on Twitter but not the Donmar, and still nothing on their website as I type... just to be safe I've renewed my membership...

I adore this show, very glad to finally have the opportunity to take my son! Shame it's not a longer run.

I've only seen Slava's Snowshow once and thought it was good. I assume the reason it's a short run at the Pinter is that it's filler between Macbeth and whatever is booked in January or February 2025.

I received an email today about 2 talks at the Criterion on the 150th celebration. Apologies if the information has already been shared. The talks are free and are on the 18th and 25th of July. 18th Criterion- The buried jewel of Piccadilly and 25th Topsyturveydom, to Two Strangers. 150 years of stage Magic.

Daisy Edgar Jones mentioned on the red carpet of Twisters she's going to be doing theatre soon, I wonder if it might be this year or next year?

If the rumours of BTTF closing are true, what shows could play the Adelphi? (And reasonably draw people in on the same street as Six and Mean Girls?)

I can't imagine most people walk around the West End looking for a show, do they? As long as it's in the West End, does location matter as much these days?

A fair question, but I didn't mean much from that last bit other than "what competes with other, bigger shows on the west end".

The Adelphi at 1500 seats is the perfect theatre for a lot of musicals. Paddington the Musical is currently in development and I wouldn't be surprised if that is looking at the Adelphi or the upcoming Olympia Theatre in Kensington.

Shows that we know will be looking for homes sometime in the not-too-distant future:
- Game of Thrones - Hunger Games
Shows that have been rumoured:
- Sweeney - The Outsiders - Stereophonic

Does anyone know what's going to the Criterion now that Two Strangers has confirmed it is closing on 31st August?

Titanique would make lots of sense - perhaps a filler show before that, though. Some other small show, perhaps a Southwark transfer or similar; or a comedy/magic/entertainment stint.

Or a good play! If any producers are reading, please bring in Tamsin Greig in The Deep Blue Sea for a season.
