Has anyone seen this yet? I'm not going until January. Word of mouth in Dublin is very strong. I saw it years ago in London with Elena Roger. It's an odd beast for me - a pedestrian play that still manages to be a fabulous night out depending on the production and the star. Jamie Lloyd and Elena Roger pulled it off and of course there's those magnificent songs. Camille O'Sullivan will certainly be able to sing them.

Well the play is as vulgar and ill written as ever but a very stylish production. Beautifully staged with elegant choreography, design and lighting. Camille O'Sullivan is no little sparrow but her interpretation of the Piaf canon sounded great. Absolute standout for me though was Zara Devlin as the younger Piaf - she's going to be a huge star.
