Is there any way to watch the performances online? I'd love to watch My Fair Lady.

That ghastly Legally Blonde was voted for best revival and yet Into the Woods wasn’t, do me a favour… Shows the voting demographic for this LOL Whatsonstage is the "Fangirls' Awards Show" as far as I'm concerned. I can't take it seriously. Other than a popularity competition for actors and shows that foster powerful fandoms.

The WOS Awards make the NTAs look like the BAFTAs. HAHAHA!

confused by this too. I wouldn't have classed it as a play or a musical though so I don't know what kind of category it would have better fit under. I don't think concert either. In any category it’ll be flooded with votes by diehard Barlow fans (as seen via Twitter)
An "Entertainment"?

Best Video Design for 'Oklahoma!'. Can anyone remind me what video there was, apart from the live video relay in darkness? Was there something during the 'ballet'? I must admit I closed my eyes due to cringing with embarrassment during that sequence, so that may be why a memory hasn't stuck.

Best takeover in a role - Lucie Jones in Wicked. She's hardly ever there!

I thought everyone who went to see Legally Blonde hated it yet it still managed to pick up awards. Ah the power of social media!

Totoro and facie winning big feels about right. They were the biggest shows of the year, critically and audience-wise.

Re: the popularity contest claims. I see Carrie Hope Fletcher went home empty handed despite being nominated directly/indirectly in three categories. I guess her huge following didn’t rally on this occasion.

What a joke these awards are. The Cher Show won best costume design when the ensemble wear the same awful costume all night and the Cher costumes were nothing like the Bob Mackie designs they were meant to be. Was it the Six fans that voted for it?
Bonnie and Clyde as best new musical? Dear oh dear...

What a joke these awards are. Tony Award winner Sutton Foster wasn't even nominated last year. That's all you need to know really. These awards have lost their identity, there are regional awards/off west end awards, but then for best musical/revival etc everything is in one category.

I loved Legally Blonde, Lauren Drew deserved that win. I wasn’t a fan of the production as a whole, but Lauren was such a standout - Double Dutch skipping double-time while belting out a song and not looking tired deserves this kind of recognition

I've just watched the highlights for this on youtube. I couldn't help but notice they performed songs from recent Broadway shows, more specifically from Strange Loop, Beetlejuice and Paradise Square. Is that a common thing they do at this ceremony, or could that be a marketing strategy indicating these shows might have a life in the UK at some point in the near future?
