So talented actress and singer who starred in the movie Fame, and wrote the great song Flashdance What A Feeling. Very sad news.

If you have never seen the movie Fame, and are into the musical performing arts, it is a brilliant (and realistic for the time) movie.

I watched Fame quite recently after not seeing it for many years. It completely still stands up 40 years after it was released. I’m not sure the same can be said for the tv series!

Bring back fame is on YouTube, worth putting up with Justin Lee Collins for some of the interviews with the cast, including Irene.
