I saw this in Newcastle on Thursday. A very moving piece despite all the swearing. I enjoyed it, took me the first 5 minutes to be able to understand the strong Scottish accents. The music was great and all the girls did an excellent job characterising people they knew. I was very moved by the girl playing Orla who was the understudy. People in London or around should make the trip to the National to see it

I knew Tyrone Huntley would get CeCe he is perfect for the role. Ryan Reid I bet is an understudy for that role too, he just has a look of the guy from the movie

I've just booked this for June 22nd on the front row. Another new show for me, I'm doing well this year. Can't wait to see Gina and Sandra. Would be happy seeing either Chris Peluso or Dale Evans, saw them both as Chris in Miss Saigon and loved them both!

I have been trying to see 1 new show a month and so far I'm succeeding. my stand out so far has to be Matthew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty ballet. That's quite a big thing for me as I have always been a musicals lover and never thought I would ever enjoy ballet. And I have a couple more new shows booked this year which I am looking forward to! Thoroughly enjoying 2016!

When are you going Michael? Fri, 15th April + Sat, 16th April (both shows) Fri, 22th April + Sat, 23rd April (both shows) Unfortunately, I'm not free on any other weekend during their run, so I had to book two consecutive weekends. Otherwise, I'd have booked one weekend early in their run and one towards the end. I was going to go Saturday but no seats left take may fancy (I'm incredibly picky) . I may now go the Wednesday matinee after. I did book my tickets ridiculously early, even before the majority of the cast was announced, so I'm always *) front row. *) bar one, when it didn't let me book a single seat and I had to move to the second row. I'm going to the matinee on the 23rd! And I'm on front row.

I have a ticket for the first Wednesday matinee in the previews. Got row F of the stalls. Very excited for this as I love the movie! I have no idea who the girl playing Effie is, I just hope the rest of the cast are phenomenal. I can think of so many people who I would like to see in this. Like Tyrone Huntley as Effie's brother, for Lorelle I would like to see someone I saw as lil Inez in hairspray a few years ago, Raquel Jones.

So I have seen the matinee at Newcastle. I had never seen Guys and Dolls before so I had no idea what to expect. And I have to say this is one of the strongest touring casts I have ever seen! Not one weak link in the whole lot, honestly. Louise Dearman as Miss Adelaide is genuinely funny and I really felt for her as she got more and more frustrated with Nathan but at the end of it all she still Ioves him and I found myself relating to her. She shone in Adelaide's lament. Maxwell Caulfield plays Nathan is great as wheeler dealer type chap and sang the part really well. He wears really good with his cronies played by Jack Edwards and Mark Sangster. Richard Fleeshman as Skye was very self confident and slick as Sky. He has made some great acting choices and I always knew he could sing, having seen him in Ghost. I loved his scenes with Anna O Byrne. Like in the beginning of the show, he mention about his character and hers having chemistry and they certainly do! Anna O Byrne was the one I was most excited about seeing and she didn't disappoint. I loved her fierce, C passionate Sarah Brown in the beginning. It did seem a little unbelievable to me when she was in Havana though and suddenly became so loose and drinking etc. Stunning voice and a great dancer. She and Louise towards the end in Marry the Man today were such a good pairing! The Ensemble do seem few but I don't think you could have fitted anymore on that stage. They all worked really hard though and choreography was brilliant. I would definitely see the tour cast again. I have a friend who was also at the show today but in London and we rang each other after the matinee to compare notes!

Not many! All the guys took their tops off in Heat is on. Before Dju Vui vay one of the girls told Kim her shoes were ugly and smelt! And in the Bangkok scene the club owner told chuck as the engineer that he looked like a hairdresser. I was watching closely but didn't notice many!

So it was my first time at Book of Mormon tonight. Didn't know what to expect of the show as I hadn't really heard anything from it. Took me a little while to warm up to the show but by the end I really like it. Had the standby Cunningham on and he really suited the role, very funny and creative. KJ Hippensteel was very good as Elder Price. I didn't much like his character at first but a great singing voice and he won me over. Asmeret as Nabalungi was ... Sweet and pretty. That's all I can really say, she was very nice. I would have liked to see a bit more fierceness in some parts but clearly the way she plays the character works for her. Stephen Ashfield was just brilliant! The whole cast work very hard and I haven't laughed so much in a long time. I will try and go back again next time I am in London!

I'll admit to camping out once overnight with my friend for the final London show of Hairspray. We had her dad as a bodyguard and our valuables in his car in the car park. She brought camping chairs and I had an old sleeping bag. Slept quite soundly from midnight til 9:30, unfortunately my friend did not. I have got up really early though to dayseat Wicked too. The earliest was 3am and I wasn't even first I was 10th! I believe it was an Ashleigh Gray show!
