Had a panic about being a target for Zerdin after getting some Row A tickets, but thankfully I'm low numbers side, Monkey! To be honest I thought prices would be worse - back of stalls is not an option that should be counted out entirely, and upper circle (though I've never sat there myself) doesn't seem too overpriced either. Naturally dress/royal circle remains untouchable. He tends to pick victims from center stage right.

Does anyone have any idea of when cast change is?

Age-wise, any recommendations? Wondering if this is suitable for a four year old? I sent my Australian husband to see a panto last year (Jack and the Beanstalk at the Shaw Theatre), his first one, and he was not impressed. Neither was the then three year old, who said it was not as good as the Lion King or Aladdin!! I figure I have one more shot to get them to appreciate panto. Absolutely not. The show is all innuendo for adults. Is there a puppet? Yes, but Paul Zs routines are not to entertain children. The rest would be Julian Clary with double entendre jokes that go over the children's (and some adults) heads. It goes very long about 2 hours 40 minutes and decent seats are usually 77 pounds. Even for the sometimes lower prices on certain family Sundays I would not recommend it for a 4 year old. As someoneelse said find a panto you like, check the cast and go see it. You will probaby like it more.

Will this be a big seller Do these things tend to sell out during the Presale? Just wondering if tickets will be left to the general public come next Friday ST There will be plenty after the presale. No worries. Last year it even went on TKTs. I have not yet seen ticket prices but do look on the Palladium site because there are specials for families on certain Sundays. And you will not have to pay booking fees.

If Julian and Paul return, as much as they are talented, it just will be their same routines in different costumes. I presume the 3rd party with be Nigel. It will get wonderful review for newbies but if you have seen them before you have seen it.

Yes that version is beautiful (I also think the best) and you can download it separately from Rachel's album.

My favorite. "Cell Block Tango" w/Jeremy Jordan, Ben Platt, Joshua Henry, Christopher Fitzgerald, Leslie Odom Jr.

She uses her many platforms for one thing only and that is publicizing herself. If all her followers came to her productions they would instantly sell out, they do not. Typical Carrie was asking her "Hopefuls" to contactmEbay instead of just contacting Ebay herself.

Found a video of practically her full concert, except The Wizard and I which us awfully annoying. If she finds out she is going to have a fit.

Julian Clary and Paul Zerden have not been announced either. Could be they are the house actors for the Palladium.

Twitter and Youtube. She has a massive following. As long as a public vote is there her fans will nominate her and then vote for her. Seeing the production is immaterial.

At this point it may very well be the Lincoln Center cast. Ramin K. and Raul Esparza. Raul has left Law and Order althoug he is not well known in the UK.

Those tickets are very expensive. I can only imagine what a premium in NY or WE would be if its $250 in Boston and the cheapest ticket $69.

I just feel like the page in the programme screams out Peter Pan!! If it was going to be Snow White wouldn’t it be a red colour (it’s blue now) and would have castle/mirror in the background? Also, Cinderella was quite plot-heavy! It might have been plot heavy but not of Cinderella. It was all Julian and Paul O and Paul Z. Not even a wedding at the end. "Well there it is."

I have taken the transatlantic cruise where you fly one way and take the ship the other. The Queen Mary. Beautiful room. But it comes down to what you want on a cruise. That one was a far cry from entertainment unless you count lectures, the planitarium and afternoon tea. The actual entertainment at night was not for my taste.
The spacious rooms are 202 feet so why not see if there is anyone available you are not going to be in the room you are there for the entertainment.
I have also taken other cruises but always shared. Granted with people I know but that is why on a cruise such as this one if you thought you would be alone you book early. Would I pay 1500 for this no but if you can save 500 and really want to go investigate it. Nothing to lose but a call.

robertb123 if you would not mind sharing, why not give them a call and see if they have a list of people who want to share. That is pretty steep.

Give yourself a pat on the back. You can love or criticise a show all you like, but that is not what you have done. You picked on a person, me. You did not debate what you liked or did not like about a show. I said I did not care for it and was bored, an it was my opinion so boom back at you.

What kind of idiot are you musicalmarge? A personal attack because I did not find it funny. As I said its my opinion. If you were screaming with laughter more power to you. You love smut. But afer a while it gets boring. And this forum shares opinions, not all will be yours, but you must have no class to lash out like that. To castigate me for an opinion. Oh wait, do you know what the word means?

I just do not get the hysterically funny. Its certainly not a laugh out loud panto. Though a few of you will say it was, it is not. And if you saw it last year, you saw it this year with different costumes. As in Cinderella, Dick Whittington is just an excuse. Might as well call it the Julian in more and more outrgeous costume show. Julian is Julian and been saying those very jokes for years, nothing new. Paul has his routine and he does the entire of it. It seems more like a variety show than a panto. And in my opinion (obviouly not shared by many here) it should be geared a bit more towards children. If you wnt to see Julian or Paul's act go see them at their gigs. I really hope they do not do the same casting next year. But I do know they cannot possibly cast John Barrowman he will not share the stage with anyone but the Krankes.

Michael Xavier as Freddie I would guess. He is a known factor for them. Though in my opion a meh Joe Gilles. Who knows they may even use Danny Mac who is a better Joe.

I think Glenn's performance on stage, not the singing is what made it so popular. She cannot sing. When I saw it she made an announcement before the show that she had a cold. I have no idea how many times she would have said this. But with all that the only reason I can think of for making this into a movie is the reaction she got on stage. I am not sure this would translate to a movie unless her voice is dubbed. When I saw it there were groups of Glenn's fans who would applaud her every move from her entrance to applauding before the song was over and I do not mean just the ending. They had no idea there was more to be sung. A totally not necessary movie but it would give work to people working on it and I do not mean the leads I mean the production

So 'Chess' has always been a bit of a pop musical so they could cast in that direction. Adam Lambert would be a fabulous Freddie with Oscar winning J-Hud belting the living daylights out of Florence. A bit old school I know but they could get Morten Harket wrapping his gorgeous vocals around 'Anthem' as Anatoly and have (and I know she'd never do it) Kylie waltzing in and stealing the show with 'Someone Else's Story' as Svetlana. David Essex could be The Arbiter to keep the old gals happy. Boom. Why is there something to keep the old gals happy? What about gays, young women transgenders, etc. That line is getting tired. Oh wait Kylie or Adam would be for the gays. So just some straight hunk for the young women? Danny Mac will be available.
