Despite being the age demographic of people who want iPhones purely because they're iPhones (young adults, we don't need them but we all have them) I have a Samsung Galaxy S8, which is just as expensive, but the technology is miles advanced compared to whatever the latest iPhone model is.
I also find I dont have any of the issues my friends complain about with their phones; Constantly being out of battery, running out of storage because my phone has expandable storage, the camera quality on my phone is also better.
I will admit though, it is very easy to just pick up an iPhone and get on with it. They're very self explanatory, android can take a little but of fiddling with to get it how you want it.

I'm hoping they reduce single seats because there's a nice little single front row seat available for what I suspect will be Nikki's scheduled show. I'm such a fangirl I'll probably pay for it regardless, but it would be nice if they reduced it for me. Just to ask, what date is that? I'm eager to see if Nikki is on for my performance. I'm suspecting it will be the one of the shows on the 30th May (Wednesday) or the 31st May matinee. Not confirmed until Amy decided or is told which show she is having off for the 9 show week. I'm hoping its a matinee so I can get to and from Newcastle in the same day.

I know exactly who I want to see as Fiyero, but he's unavailable for it this year unless he leaves the tour he's in extremely soon even though it's just started. (It's Michael Colbourne, currently Jimmy in the Thoroughly Modern Millie tour) Maybe another year 🙃 Sophie and Alice have pretty much told me or friends of mine they're staying. I'd be pretty upset if Melanie leaves and with the exception of Fiyero - I'm really impartial to the other characters. Michael Colbourne? our tastes differ very much, his Enjolras was 🙈🙊 ähm... not good, very quaky voice. Well we will see but i will not see Wicked then 😇 I thought his voice was the stand out of his performance as Jimmy (well that and he looks good in a suit, like I swooned in my seat good). I never saw him in Les Mis but his voice is anything but quaky, stronger belt than Bradley and after him we need another Fiyero who can really sing.

Only had the shirt on because it's actually one of the warmest peices of clothing I own for layering (I usually make a conscious effort to not wear that shirt to the show 😂) and I'd travelled 6 hours to Liverpool that day.
I wasnt angry that he didn't stop, it was more the way he looked at me and my friend before we could even ask. Was he angry we didn't stop him? I'll try to stop him when I next go because Im trying to fill my programme but it was just a bit odd. There's rushing off cause you're missing your train and then there's the way he looked at us which wasn't pleasant. I don't have high hopes of the stage door experience, an autograph in my programme and maybe a photo if I enjoyed the performance that much (but chances are if I didn't enjoy it I'm not going to go to stage door)
Edit - (Looked back at some photos and saw I was just wearing a topically green jumper so no idea what I did wrong)

Benjamin Yates on his Fiyero debut. I LOVE it! Better than Aaron Sidwell according to my friend who has seen the tour cast. Apparently Aaron is quite rude/standoffish at stage door too. I mean I wasn't at stage door in Liverpool to see him, (I usually only bother stopping the girls, I let everyone else make their own mind up about stopping or not) but I was clearly there after the show collecting autographs and he did just knowingly look me up and down in my Wicked shirt and walked off. Also this is totally the wrong thread, but I'm ready to jump up and go if Ben Yates goes on in Sunderland. I have a friend who rushed to his debut and she said it was completely worth the stress and extra pennies.

So much for 'demand', yes all of the sub £50 tickets are gone, but except for the odd Sunday all performances are showing as 'available' and none are sold out. I'll take chances on getting U21 dayseats when I'm in London instead of stressing.
Compare this to the workshop last year which was sold out by now.

Ticket prices up to £75 for The Other Palace. We might as well PayPal Miss Fletcher the money ourselves 🙃

Any predictions on the rest of the cast. Or will it mostly be a reprise of the workshop cast, minus Charlotte Wakefield and Amy Ross (unavailable due to Wicked tour)

She literally busted her voice doing Wednesday Addams and Veronica is way higher. She cracked all the time doing that so I don’t know how she’ll cope with this unless she gets some serious vocal training. Just seen on twitter that they've wrote new songs for the show, so what is the betting that they may have also lowered it a key or two so she can belt it.

Veronica's high note is an Ab5 I didn't even realise Carrie could belt that high, especially when she struggled with the G5 in Addams. I do believe they have casted her for the name, because a better role for her range would be Heather C or Heather D, but neither of those characters are the lead.
They announced her along side the show, so it is just a publicity stunt. If they do Tuesday Matinees however I suppose I'll go when Im free in London.
Edit - Wednesdays high note was actually only an E5. The girl cannot belt two notes and a half step higher when she struggled with the E.

Take from this what you will, but there's going to be disappointment come cast change. At least from what I've heard through my stagey grapevine.

please say there will be a new Eponine How about Sophie Evans? Even if she was leaving Wicked, which she wouldn't be before June anyway. She's always said she'd want to play Fantine.

I didn't agree with the amount of awards Hamilton won and definitely not with Michael Jibson winning over Cleve September, but I couldn't helo but cry everytime they won something else. I hate to sound soppy, while a British musical deserved those awards - Hamilton truely changed my life and seeing it being appreciated will always make me emotional.

Does anyone know if Amy and Helen come to stage door after matinees? It would be lovely if I could meet them but I wouldn't count on it, seeing as it's a double day and the Edinburgh Playhouse stage door is hidden away down a series of alleyways, far from the theatre entrance. No idea, but thanks for the pre warning on the stage door. I just booked my train tickets, I'll have to hunt it out when I get there.

First and last listen to her album done, nothing extraordinary. Confused by the arrangement of some of the song. Hated Let it Go and I Dreamed A Dream, especially the latter what happened to that song?
Her voice is pretty, and she clearly has a cracking belt and range but I think of other performers her age who have an even more cracking range and belt, they just don't have a huge Youtube following.
I loved her arrangement of Journey to the Past though. Now if we could just get Christy Altomare to sing that arrangement it would be even better.

The only likely thing I can think of is a new production trailer? It would make sense why they're only recording certain songs and this time they want to actually match the vocals to the actors in the trailer?
It is well past time Wicked had a new trailer, I mean that German footage with the OBC recording over top has been around forever. If you look at the new Phantom and Les Mis trailers for over here they've gone for a much more cinematic 'million dollar movie' style trailer, instead of like 'we filmed bits of musical'.

Yesterday was quite possibly the worst day, went for my train back home from East Yorkshire and ended up missing it because I had an asthma attack on the side of a country road. So I manage the next train and I have pay my whole way home again. My asthma attack comes back and I end up a&e on a nebuliser and oxygen and now I have to take eight steriod tablets a day.

Sort of related, but which Londond venues are ATG? I find it quite hard to tell compared to touring venues and I really want to take advantage of the 10% bar discount.

It was scheduled to come to Newcastle Theatre Royal last time but I can't remember if it actually happened. It didn't come unless I would have seen, and a few of ny friends wouldn't have let me hear the end of it if Carrie Hope Fletcher was in town.

If they're doing another tour, hopefully they can actually bring it to the North East. Sunderland Empire or Theatre Royal, neither bothers me.
As much as I would like Carrie to reprise Wednesday so I could say I've seen her, I can think of so many better performers or give the opportunity to a fresh, ypung talent.

Wicked on Broadway - when no one but the cast knew defying gravity was going to happen. (well really just that OG cast, but the first performance would have been extra special)

Not saying it should tour but I can imagine Macintosh bringing Phantom of the Opera restaged back out after Les Mis has toured.

Maria Coyne was standing by for both Glinda and Phantom's Christine yesterday! they had a lot of standby Christines the last week: Harriet Jones, Maria Coyne and Lisa- Anne Wood. Made me think, isn‘t Celinde Schoenmaker one as well? This isnt a Phantom thread, but I know that their alternate is on holiday and the understudy is needed in the ensemble because I saw on twitter they have a lack of female swings, so maybe they're taking who they can get to standby for Christine. Interesting they got Maria in when she already has a job.

I'm sorting my plans for my visit next Saturday night, I'm planning on going to stage door which I have never done for Wicked before, I was wondering if anyone knew roughly how long Alice usually takes to come out? Obviously I know this can be different each night but was just looking for a rough idea so I can work it so I don't miss my last train! xx The latest I've seen Alice out is 22:45 looking back at photo stamps from stage door (obviously not counting press night, didn't even intend to wait, but me and my friend were just having a chat)

Im planning to go twice in a week during its Edinburgh run and I don't know if I'm up to it. Once because my mam wants a trip to Edinburgh for her birthday and asked to see the Wicked matinee and the other a for the more fangirl reason of what I suspect will be the standby's scheduled show. Safe to say I dont know if I'm looking forward to it. You don't have to go to the second show, so if you're not looking forward to it then why bother? I don't understand why anyone would go to a show they're not looking forward to unless they'd promised to take someone else. I probably will be excited when it's confirmed Nikki performing and I'll never be excited to travel or stay in a hostel. I'll be more excited when my exams are over, and it's paid for 😂 I think not being excited is because of circumstance. Ill be looking forward to it closer to the time when it's paid for. I'm not going to turn down a chance to see my favourite, especially after exams.

My shortest interval between shows was 13 days. That was my first and second show, I'm really glad I did because it was that second show that really did it. But it was too short of an interval between shows (after that I didn't go back for 3 months)
I'm in the pattern where I'll go to see the show twice within a month and then I'll not go for 2/3 month. I went to the tour last week and I'm not going until May (tour again though, no idea when I'll next be in London)
