This (if true) is amazing news! Why have they left it so late though? They've almost missed all their chances to sell to audience as the recording of the cast they are seeing. (Also Louise is gonna be FUMING!) It is true. It is on all their social media accounts. They also have put out a trailer today. Can see the trailer and further announcement note but nothing about cast recording....excellent news if it is...

Looks like they might have bungled another announcement and had to delete the tweet, but it was there this morning and they've liked lots of people's excited tweets about it.

Yeah seems to have been removed....
Seems they let whoever is on work experience run the Twitter account.

Extended to Saturday 23rd May 2020.
Presumably it will close on this date, to make way for Sunday in the Park with George...

Seeing the show on Wednesday afternoon, picked up seats in Row L of the circle for £25, wouldn’t usually sit that far back in the circle but seems pretty good value for the price. Anyone know if there’s binoculars for hire behind the seats at the Savoy?

Finally got round to seeing this last night - and gosh it’s so much fun!
I saw the tour in 2012, and it didn’t feel like the U.K. got it then, but 100% they have now. It’s dumb joy, that is a fabulous night out. It also fills the Savoy stage without a particularly complicated set, which I wasn’t expecting it to do!
Caroline Sheen is great, and does have one of the show highlights with ‘One of the Boys’ - she looks fabulous in that white suit too! Amber Davies surprised me no end - she is good! She’s not a great actress, but she can certainly sing, and it’s brilliant to hear someone belt out ‘Get Out and Stay Out’ so well! Didn’t really enjoy Brian Conley if I’m honest - it just wasn’t for me. I struggled to understand much of what he was singing, and he overplayed it I thought - I thought there were subtler ways of playing Hart than being a bit vulgar.
But the show is stolen by Natalie McQueen and Bonnie Langford. It’s great to see Natalie McQueen being at the centre of a West End musical - I really think she’s one of our biggest talents. The versatility of her voice (from the roles she has played) is so good. And Bonnie - what can you say? She absolutely steals the show with Heart to Hart - echoing what everyone says, I wish I was that flexible now!
4 stars from me, and I’ll definitely be going back!

What happened with the cast recording for this in the end? Is it still a go-er?

Looking on twitter its like every cover they have is on tonight and the ensemble are bulked up with ice cream sellers and the follow-spot guy...is it a small cast or just a bug?

It would've been a nice touch. It's not a groundbreaking show, but it's got a couple of nice songs. And would be nice to hear Caroline Sheen and Natalie McQueen belting them out!
