I'm happy to see them promote from within and give Dance Captain positions to George Grayson and Jason Winter who were Angels/Swing in the last London cast.
Also the first time there's been the slightest bit of diversity in the female casting!

So excited to see Niki, she was amazing in Blood Brothers! Also thrilled to see Jason Winter is Dance Captain and Joshua St. Clair takes on the Paul Ayres/Jordan Fox track!

Just had my holiday approved so it looks like I’ll be able to catch the tour (hopefully with Callum!) in Northampton after all. Does anyone have any knowledge of that theatre and the best places to sit /areas to avoid?!

Does anyone have any knowledge of that theatre and the best places to sit /areas to avoid?! I volunteer there and know it pretty well - I can honestly say there aren't any areas to avoid, even the back of the upper circle is a decent view. Legroom is decent throughout the auditorium as well. So you'll be fine wherever you go for 😀

Brilliant, thanks robertb213 a case of personal preference then, I do love a theatre that’s like that

You're welcome! I'd probably opt for the stalls for this show to be closer to the fabulousness, but wherever you go you'll be fine. You'll have a better view than I will anyway, sitting on the usher seats by the doors!

Does anyone have any knowledge of that theatre and the best places to sit /areas to avoid?! I’m graduating there in February. I found the grand circle to be much further away from the stage than most theatres, even on the front row. It feels as though you’re too far removed from the action for my liking, but the view is uninterrupted. Personally I would opt for the stalls.

Thanks guys! I tend to go for the stalls for most shows anyway so I’ll probably book stalls for this visit as well

Sad to see there’s no children in the cast, but I guess it would be awkward getting children for the smaller venues and frequent stops.
I wonder how the opening number will work?

Anyone know will Dublin be added to the tour or is the full list of touring venues now released. As far as I’m aware there’s still more venues to be announced. But like aingidh said it’s advertised as a UK Tour with no mention of Ireland so I doubt Dublin will be one of the venues that’s yet to be announced.

I’m really hoping the tour will have a cast board. It’s such a simple thing to have, and with the amount of potential cast changes the show will have, e.g. children, angels, swings etc. I think it would be necessary.

I’m sure they will, if not follow @westendcovers on twitter and they will post the cast each day

I only have one show booked so far (Edinburgh with Callum) but I might go see it in Sunderland to see Kayi as Lola.
The prices for this tour actually aren't as shocking as I was expecting. They are still a bit pricey but they definitely aren't Wicked or Lion King level.

I've booked three shows, two in Bristol and one in Northampton so far. Knowing me and knowing how much I love this show I'll probably end up booking a few more venues as well. Glasgow, Southampton, Oxford, Birmingham and Cardiff are all possibilities right now. Wasn't planning on going to Northampton but I want to try and see Callum so Northampton seemed like the better option. All the venues Callum's doing are well over two hours away from me so I thought I may as well go to the place the show is set, and given how early on in the run I'm going it's the best chance of guaranteeing Callum will be on. I agree aingidh the prices are actually quite good for this tour, yes they are still high but not shockingly so

I was going to do Glasgow but I've just realised it's in the middle of my GCSE/N5 exams. Sunderland is at the start of the summer holidays so although it is further away it's more convenient personally for me.

Glasgow is one of the furthest venues from me but I was planning on doing a Glasgow/Edinburgh trip in May next year anyway, so seeing as the dates would work out I feel like I'll probably end up going.
Has Blackpool been announced as the last venue of the tour yet? Or is there still possibility of other venues being added after? I'd love to be at the final tour date but I don't want to book Blackpool if it's not the final date. I know there's still more venues to be announced I just don't know whether they'll be slotted into the gaps or placed after Blackpool

Ah, I'm undecided as to whether I should go see the tour in Northampton just to support my old hometown. The stingy part of me is thinking I can get cheaper tickets in London.

From looking at numerous Instgram posts/stories regarding swing maps and set builders, the Tour has the set like the current China Tour. NOT like the full London set It’s a shame since it’s first (and maybe last) UK Tour

Anyone know if this will extend? Will it go to London venues like Wimbledon or Woking later in the run?
