Hi team, I'm in New York in a few weeks (and unusually for me) i'm in town on a Monday night. Broadway is pretty dry on a Monday, so i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for Off Broadway - or even non theatre things we could do instead! Currently my main option appears to be the Percy Jackson musical, which is also pretty cheap, so it's not a terrible option - but if anyone can think of anything else super fun/exciting that we should look at instead i'd love to hear from you! Cheers

I think Cats and Miss Saigon play on Mondays. Some shows tend to change schedules seasonally and would occasionally swap to Mondays. If you google Broadway Monday shows it'll give you a breakdown of the schedule for the next few weeks, but not enough to forward plan months in advance

How do you feel about immersive theatre? Sleep No More plays on a Monday evening.

It's worth checking up on venues like Joe's Pub and 54 Bellow for Monday night concerts with Broadway stars as well, if you enjoy that sort of thing!

Thanks team! Some great suggestions here I saw Cats & Saigon in London not too long ago, so not really fussed by those - and whilst i enjoy immersive theatre, i saw Sleep No More in London & thought it was the weaker than other Punchdrunk shows by comparison. 54 Below has a concert that evening, but i don't know the singer/actor doing it - but Joes Pub has a Lesbian Music Theatre cabaret night which could be fun!

When Lesbian Music Theatre night is offered you KNOW it's the obvious choice What's the 54 Below gig? I have in recent years struggled with many a name there, I think it's because I'm getting old and not up on my more minor/middling Broadway performers as I was in my teens and twenties.

This is the 54 below show 54below.com/events/lisa-jason-another-hundred-people/ We might go there on Friday evening after Hello Dolly though, as there's a Friends Parody Musical Concert that could be fun.... but also, just a general bar/club might also be fun so we're gonna play that by ear!
