As per usual with Jamie Lloyd's productions, R&J is offering 10,000 tickets priced at £25 and under, with 5,000 specifically for under 30s, key workers, and government benefit recipients. Although it's unclear when they go on sale SEE United States its not that hard

Just wanted to confirm something if possible. Somebody on Reddit asked if the under 30s tickets are for UK residents only? I assumed they wouldn't be, thought the criteria was just to be, y'know, *under 30*, but now I'm not so sure...
I just know the NT's similar scheme only allows UK residents.

Is the 8am priority on Tuesday the earliest booking slot or do ATG cardholders get even earlier dibs?

Very annoying how often the members presale we pay for is at exactly the same time as a free signup. Especially as this will attract attention far beyond the usual West End crowd.

ATG+ do have ringfenced seats for the presale though. Not that it makes it better. They could’ve at least given an exclusive hour!

Begs the question "what's the point of membership" if it doesn't actually carry any meaningful benefits.

I think it is self-defeating, because (personally) my own access points to buy quadruple using alternate devices when they do stuff like this and I hang on until I have booked tickets through the earliest access that I get. As a result, I clog up other spaces that could be taken by other people. It creates an unnecessary bottleneck.

EDIT: oh yes there is
Not sure there is a free signup presale for this, is there?

Yes there is, through the link in the plays website that was linked at the beginning of this thread: they sent me an email earlier saying the resale goes live next Tuesday (the 13th) from 8 a.m until noon: I’ve seen how many people liked this when Tom Holland shares he was doing it on his Instagram the other day so they won’t have problems selling tickets for this, I want to see who is playing Juliet first though.

They don't need to announce who is playing Juliet before Tuesday though. It will still largely sell out. It could be Lola* from Big Brother and it would still sell the same. * Apologies if there really was a Lola from Big Brother.

Do U30 / Key worker tickets go on sale at the same time as the presale or is there a separate release? Thanks

If I remember correctly for Sunset Boulevard they were released later. Not sure if it will be the same this time.

I hope they do go on sale at the same time, or at least we know when they will before general sale as I qualify!

I did a bit of digging - the Sunset U30 tickets went on sale 8th September at 8:30am and I found a tweet from WhatsOnStage announcing it on the 6th September. I assume the same will happen for this but I guess no harm in checking tomorrow morning. (For reference, Sunset Blvd started on the 21st September so these Under 30 tickets went on sale a couple of weeks before the show started its run.)

So definitely no key workers tomorrow pre-sale? Don't think can wait for it and sounds like will be a sell out. Wish they'd just release them at the same time.

My best queue place is 6840 so might be waiting for the key worker tickets depending on how quickly the queue goes as can only be at my desk until 9

The ATG link just lands you in the same enormous queue as everyone else who doesn't pay their annual fee. I think that's really out of order.

I never got my ATG+ link! I got mine but having logged in it is telling me to sign up as an ATG+ member (which I already am and logged in as well)... No wonder JL is off doing his own thing - ATG really is cack.
