I reviewed it at Curve last night, Molly-Grace Cutler is fantastic as are several of the others, but otherwise I found it a very cheap and lacklustre production. Not a patch on the West End version, or even the last tour. A rare disappointment from Foster in my opinion.

I'm guessing the different ending is the same one as how the film was originally supposed to end (which Glenn Close was completely against but eventually backed down), as seen in the extras on the bluray?

No problem. To be fair, they undersold the Drury Lane production, it was so much more than a concert production. If the Arts Theatre even matches it, it'll be fine.

It might have a bit more staging but I'd imagine it will be pretty similar, the Arts Theatre doesn't have a whole lot of space to play with.

And perhaps most importantly, we need a hot Radames. Priorities, people! 🤣

Rumours circulating again about a London run. It’s due to open in Holland next year and a possible London run after that. YES. Someone tell Danielle Steers to clear her diary once she's finished with Cher 😁

And to be fair, a lot of Frozen's awards were on the technical side, not performance, and it is a very polished-looking show technically from what I've seen.

Caught the matinee of this today, Row N of the Stalls for £25 on TodayTix (amazing view from this seat, I must say).
This is definitely an average musical, but as a stage spectacle, it's brilliant. Some of the best technical effects I've ever seen. It's really raised the bar in what can be achieved on stage I think.
The performances were great as well - Olly Dobson sounds just like Michael J Fox and was very likeable. Roger Bart is having the time of his life up there and deserves a lot of praise. Hugh Coles and Cedric Neal also brilliant.
All in all there's a lot more to like than hate and it's worth a Rush gamble anytime. It's not a bad show. Just musically disappointing (who thought that Act 2 opener was a good idea?!)

Danny was out when I saw it as well, and I agree the understudy was very wooden. Shame Rachael was out today as she is definitely one of the best things about it. Aimie was performing at the WhatsOnStage Awards this evening so maybe that's why she was off this afternoon.

I attended the ceremony tonight, first time ever.
It was a bit like that year at the Oscars when Titanic basically won everything and it became a bit predicatble. I haven't seen Frozen but I'm glad it's so popular!
It's definitely not got much credibility to it (when Carrie Hope Fletcher and Lily Allen are deemed the best female performers?!) but I guess the people have spoken and that's what they've decided. There was a lot of love in the room whenever Back To The Future won, so that has a lot of public support which is nice. Excellent performances from Samantha Barks and Julian Ovenden as well.
Also Eddie Redmayne walked past me. Lordy he's beautiful up close.

They look like Cher to me! I'd much rather this approach than some horrific Drag Race caricature.

Alexander Armstrong wouldn't be a bad idea, he'd get the housewives in and has a good voice.

I think I saw a different show to everyone else, I thought it was dreadful! Bad acting all around apart from Harman, the script barely scratches the surface of the novel, clues are deciphered within seconds, there's no sense of threat or urgency at any point, the ending is so rushed it feels like the actors themselves can't wait to finish....really not good I'm afraid.

I'm totally on board with Debbie and Danielle, they'll be superb. Millie is a more obscure choice but then she was very entertaining in Six so I'm sure she'll be great.

Louise Redknapp??? Good grief 🙄 She doesn't have much to do as Beth to be fair, just look a bit distressed. Thankfully she's not playing Alex!

I may have been living under a rock, but did anyone else know that if you upload photos of the stage view from your seat to Seatplan and give a short review, you earn points to be redeemed for Theatre Tokens? I've missed out on so many! 🤣🤣🤣 but I'm so starting from this week! seatplan.com/rewards/

Casting an unknown is fine if they're amazing (hello Sam Tutty) but this choosing this guy just sounds like a complete misfire.

Cast change in March, Kym Marsh leaving, Susie Amy switching to play Alex, Louise Redknapp joining as Beth.
