Yeah it will be like all of the other Strictly shows, mostly dancing, costume changes, a couple of lead vocalists and Oti doing a bit of banter with the audience. She'll be amazing to watch.

Saw the evening performance last night. Initially disappointed not to get Jordan but Barney is absolutely brilliant, completely owning it and I suspect he's probably more believable as a rough bad boy than Jordan 😁
Frances is also brilliant, she's come on so far since the concert just 4 short months ago. She sounds divine in her two big solos and duet.
I had said I wouldn't revisit the show after the Drury Lane concert but I'm very glad I did, and would recommend others to do the same. And don't hesitate in booking while Barney is on for Jordan, he's fantastic.

As amazing as Cedric will be as Lola in KB, there's no way I can pay to sit through another Matt Willis '
"performance", especially when Charlie has a lot more to do than Dr Pomatter/Fiyero etc.

I went for 3 stars. There's some good stuff in there and some excellent performances but it's too long and starts dragging after the interval. I found the score underwhelming as well. But there is a flaming sword!

Saw this twice this week through volunteering, having seen it twice in London previously.
I still think it's woefully written with a terrible story and shoehorned songs, but the music does sound great and this touring cast give great performances. Elena Skye and Jenny O'Leary belt their hearts out. We had Damien Walsh as Gallileo for one performance and Ian McIntosh for the other, both great although personally I thought Damien was marginally better.
The standard for touring sets continues to decline though - this is just a video screen and some platform scaffolding, with the odd prop wheeled on every now and again. Definitely not worth the top prices they're asking. But the cast made up for it and the audience seemed to love every minute.

I saw it on a Saturday night, a few children near me, all as good as gold, as were the parents. I know it's luck of the draw but I wouldn't assume every audience for this show will be a nightmare.

Great job by the ensemble and the technical teams. That's where my positives end unfortunately. Can't win them all!

25 minute show stop at the introduction to the Elephant Love Medley scene before it successfully continued. It's going to be a long night!!
Also understudies on for every lead role apart from The Duke.
