The legendary June Brown best known to many millions as Dot Cotton for 35 years on EastEnders has taken her final dum, dum,dum at the grand old age of 95. Sad news and one of the most iconic characters in the show. She was even BAFTA nominated for her role and had been made an OBE earlier this year after having an MBE in the late 2000's.
I had to smile when I read she was told to carry on smoking as trying to stop could have caused her body to go into shock but she still made it that fine age.
