Has anyone seen this tour? It's done a couple of dates now: Leicester and Guildford.

Saw it at Curve. Not my cup of tea. The production and performances are enjoyable but the songs are completely forgettable.

I didn't prioritise it high enough in London so missed it; may travel to a 'near London' venue if it seems worth it - but with travel costs I'll find out how many board members regularly feel.

I did see some Broadway youtube videos a long time ago which seemed promising, but I expect those were the pick of the songs, naturally.

I saw this twice this week. I was a big fan of Jordan and co in London and fully enjoyed it on tour.I think the songs are great, dying ain't so bad gets me every time. Had the alternate Bonnie as the main one has been off this week. Alex did a great job and he had big shoes to fill. I would recommend.

I enjoyed it more than the London run as the two Leads seemed to me to have more chemistry. The only thing I would say is that imo the staging suits a smaller theatre - the Grand at Wolverhampton is a big old space and some of the intimacy was lost as a consequence. The band sounded excellent albeit they were hidden away in the pit. Some brilliant voices and I thought Catherine Tyldesley as Blanche was excellent.

Danny Boy Hatchard is now not doing any of the tour. Nate Landskroner takes on the role full time from September.

Another JD, they really got a type. Nate is already alternate Clyde and performs every week day matinee.

Does anyone know why Alex isn't on for the later dates of the tour, in a couple months? Nate appears to take over all of his dates, is Alex booked for something else?
