Hayao Miyazaki's 'Spirited Away' will be adapted to the stage in Tokyo next year, before touring Japan afterwards! It will also be helmed by John Caird, co-director of the original production of 'Les Mis'!

I don't think so. Disney once held the distribution rights in North America and dubbed the film, but Studio Ghibli isn't owned by them. I believe Toho (the film's Japanese distributor) will be producing it. From what the article says, Ghibli and Miyazaki seem fine with Caird directing.
