We've been shielding since March and it's been difficult to be motivated but I've been inspired by The Repair Shop to renovate bits.
I'm working on my old amplifier at the moment so I can play my vinyl records. Almost there - I've cleaned it so it no longer crackles but I can't get the right side to play - it's out with the soldering iron.
And I've got three vintage record players to get working. I find they're usually easy to fix.
I've also cleaned up some old board games and replaced missing pieces to sell on eBay - £35 for Escape to Colditz.

I haven't learnt or done anything new but I have got back into reading and I'm enjoying it.
I did try podcasts and long walks but I just need the walk to enjoy it. It nice not to have other sounds apart from the environment around you.

@kevinuk I read your first sentence & thought you were redecorating your house, until I read on!

I got properly back into reading from March last year! I forgot how fantastic books are. Shame the charity shops have had to close again as they're where I get the majority of my books from.

Debating joining Apple Fitness and taking up living room yoga again, but might need to wait until I’ve drank all my Christmas vodka and ate all my Christmas chocolate first. I can highly recommend Yoga With Adriene videos on YouTube. I'd wanted to try yoga for years and finally looked at these videos last year. I've really enjoyed it and there's less pressure by doing it in your living room rather than a class
