Has anyone been to this? I'm going tonight. Looks like the big media hasn't reviewed it, but the comments I have read are positive.

Yup, saw first performance and enjoyed it a lot. Said the following in the more general reviews thread On McQuillan's Hill - Finborough Theatre
Blackly funny comedy set around the release of an IRA man around 1999 under the good Friday agreement. A great cast showing a group of people damaged by themselves, by each other and by the circumstances of the time. A slower first half that really kicks into gear after the interval. Good use of the Finborough's small space, well directed and we enjoyed it a lot. Runs till the end of the month I think. Totally sold out on the first night.
Since then I haven't seen much of the bigger press but a lot of very positive, 4 and 5 star reviews in smaller press and across blogs etc.

I have a huge respect for anything which happens at the Finborough. Not always great, but always honest.

Just to add, I really liked this play. It wasn't easy sometimes to understand what was said due to thick Irish accents (and due to myself as a non native English speaker) but I thought the acting was spot on from almost everybody (possibly except the chap playing Fra Maline who I felt was a bit over the top). In particular I thought the older lady was excellent -apparently it was the actress' London debut-and so was Theresa. It has a good amount of drama and things that happen so it doesn't drag at any point.
Agree with the above comment-I don't always love the plays here but it is a venue with integrity and a clear direction, they seem to seek out forgotten works and less known playwriters which is admirable.

A very good play with some dark humour. One of my favourite venues. As pointed out, they don’t always get it right but I salute them in what they are trying to do.
